Okay, so while BDW is gone, I’m moving the posting of the auctions to a thread I can update the subject on…so you guys will know what page to look at for new additions. @.@; She can move us back to the other thread (or make a new one) when she returns. =)
So, as of tonight, we have…
October 18, 2009 at 12:53 pm #787446Thanks for doing this! π I love the variety that’s out there right now!
October 18, 2009 at 3:09 pm #787447Thanks for holding the fort. π
Oh my gosh, I love that Cuttle Poad! That’s such a great color and pattern combination!
October 18, 2009 at 7:21 pm #787448I wish I weren’t so broke! Honestly though, most of the pieces go for way higher than I could afford even if I were working. For those of you who are bidding on pieces that are going for hundreds of dollars, share you secret, what are you doing to have so much expendable income! Please, tell us!

October 18, 2009 at 7:48 pm #787449Yep, I hear ya [eyes the Summer Green Spectral] beautiful but definitely way out of my price range. Anyhoo, I’ll be sitting out many an auction and congradulating all that have won items. Really serious about the hands off the credit cards resolve.
October 18, 2009 at 10:14 pm #787450Wow, going way higher than I thought it would. o.o; @ the Spectral
Can’t even imagine what a riser would have done. π
October 18, 2009 at 11:10 pm #787451I like that Wizard Cat Candlelamp. I wonder if there will be more in other colors. Maybe a Bengal wizard kitty?! I can always dream. π Of course, I would need to also dream up a way to actually win an auction with a Bengal wizard cat. π
October 19, 2009 at 8:41 am #787452I like the Tuxedo male. A lot. Except for his white claws. But the rest of the coloring is very pretty.
The Spectral, of course, is even prettier in my eyes. Since he’s already over $1500, though, I shan’t be bidding on him. And anyway, he doesn’t quite have the same lively sparkle as my Spring Green Riser. π
October 19, 2009 at 10:57 am #787453I agree. c.c @ GB tiny comment
The cinna-pearl and spring green risers are the only spectrals I’ve ever liked. e.e
Anyhoo, I’ll add anything else that shows up today to this post~ But here’s the kitteh for now.
October 19, 2009 at 12:54 pm #787454They got the title of the auction wrong on that–if one looks at the text in the description, it’s actually #2. π I was wondering how it was all that different from the last marble Bengal ‘cat’s cradle’ just a few days back! π

Hah, I was wondering that too, but decided in the end it was just me that was confused. π
October 20, 2009 at 12:29 am #787456See now that a Male Kirin is up in that copper patina color. I have the cat scone and like the coloring–nice way to salvage some of the imperfect scupts. Hmmmm, I saw somewhere that someone wanted a copper patina Poad; would be nice to see some other sculpts in copper patina hit the store–Poad would be nice. π

That was me trying to think of something easy for Melody to do for the swap. π And of course catering to my own selfish desire for a Poad. c.c I changed my squeak to a sketch, which would probably take less time (and still be delightful), but I’d still like to see a copper patina Poad…although I’d want a pattern on her back, or it’d be too boring. 6.6
It is nice to see the copper patina close-up on something with both the smooth scales and long fur like the oriental. =) And boo, I hope she paints another cat wizard candlelamp like that. Doesn’t have to be tabby though…I didn’t even realize he was, until I noticed his arm/leg (whatever) had stripes. π I just liked his face~
October 20, 2009 at 1:21 am #787458Oh yes–the Poad butt–squeaking for a Poad as a raffle prize π I agree, I love the Poads but they need to have a pattern on their backs. I’m looking at that newest cuttle Poad on ebay with a touch of turquoise to the pattern–makes a difference and you see how much she’s going for. I could see a copper patina coloring with pattern with a complimentary color in it. Of course I should be squeaking this elsewhere but I wouldn’t be a member worth her gypsum if I didn’t hijack on one thread or another! π
