Done. No problem 🙂
I haven’t got the money to use it anyway.January 23, 2007 at 2:36 am #530906well as I said back to you I hope to get my tax paperwork soon. I might be able to get something
January 23, 2007 at 2:55 am #530907Congratulations, Nam !
and, congratulations to everyone who got white curlies. sigh. I guess I won’t have to worry about spending money since they keep putting them up while I’m at work. 😥
I forget, are the curlies ever supposed to come out as regular production pieces ? I guess they’ll probably only come out as “limited” for the retired colors, though.
January 23, 2007 at 2:58 am #530908I just hope there will be another batch.
January 23, 2007 at 3:05 am #530909I think somewhere I heard there was going to be another EmPea batch but don’t quote me on that

Well, thanks to Jade I have an EmPea, I want a flame/russet, I would have liked a white as well. I didn’t really have the money right now anyways. Sucks being broke.
January 23, 2007 at 3:15 am #530911LOL I am just keeping myself broke until tax time! HAHAHAHA 😆
I would have liked one of the other two colors, but I wasn’t gonna go Curlieless…I mean what if they don’t make more russets or empea’s? 😯January 23, 2007 at 3:54 am #530912I really like them. The single eye open is really neat. I can’t wait to get the EmPea and White ones to keep my Russett one company
January 23, 2007 at 4:00 am #530913At first I was like…Well, I like the pose, but I don’t need them. I was still waiting for more Fledgies. But, then you all talked aobut them, and I saw pictures and the more I ehard the more I wanted them! Collecting is contagious I guess! 😆

Seems like it would be best to help out people we actually care about. Just my $0.02
I can do 15% off items that are slow salers, but not my full Windstone stock. But not 25% sorry guys. I can also do free shippin inside the US. I can only offer Windstone on sale for a limited time (starting 1/23 for a week) New Years sale!
January 23, 2007 at 4:04 am #530915well that is why we have our Windstone support group!!

I would guess Grandio can offer free shipping and %off sales because they have been around for quite a while and they sell other things that can offset the discounts. It’s nice that they offered 25% off. I always appreciated the free shipping, though – that’s why I’ve stuck with them. Maybe (probably) my savings are an illusion, but there’s that psychology again. lol Not to mention, their site is kept updated and it’s very easy to see what they have available. Personally, I hate one picture with dropdown color choices. That’s just me, though.

It’s not a money issue. It’s that fact that they have signed a contract with Windstone saying they will not sell items for less then the set Windstone price. Windstone did this wiht their venders to make sure they do not de value their work.
I do not however know if there is anything in that contract able being able to put the items on saleJanuary 23, 2007 at 5:21 am #530918Dragon Master wrote:lamortefille wrote:enchantments wrote:CherylKaufman wrote:I might want to throw this out there but if grandio is giving a 25% discount, in the name of competition, why can’t the people on here representing stores match the price and get the business instead of grandio? I do not however know if there is anything in that contract able being able to put the items on saleI would have to assume all retailers pay the same wholesale prices for Windstone. The retailers chose their markups within reason, with a set “floor” from Windstone. Some may chose to make more money on a few people. Others choose to offer a sale and therefore make more money overall on increased sales. If the retailer sets their price too high, the market will not support it and their product will not move.
January 23, 2007 at 6:06 am #530919Well, I’m back from the con, and I just KNEW I was going to miss something while I was gone! But that’s okay, I have my russet curl, and I don’t plan to collect the curl dragons, so one is really enough.
