A griffin, cuz they can fly!
July 14, 2007 at 12:35 pm #599428I’ve always seen myself as a dragon. Not a windstone though. I would have horns and spikes and so on. Slim and gracefull, with scales as hard as diamond. (What does that say about me…. π , especially since the last time I was slim and gracefull was before puberty.) I’d have to see if I can find one of my old scetches….
July 14, 2007 at 1:26 pm #599429Of the Windstones, I’d be the OW (even though Spetcrals are my favorite). He’s the toughest-looking one. But for mythical creatures in general, Windstones are too elegant. I’d actually be a different dragon, a breed I created called Epine: big and covered in horns, spikes and sharp, poison-secreting scales.
I know my name is basilisk but a dragon would be more fun. They can fly.July 14, 2007 at 1:43 pm #599430I see everyone has a great imagination! They all sound wonderful. π
July 14, 2007 at 1:56 pm #599431I love big cats. I’d probably want to transform into a tiger (they’re my favorites, though the puma is also very nice).
But that’s not mythical, is it? So it would be a dragon! I would change into a mother dragon. Windstone dragons are my favorites; they look exactly like what I think a dragon is.
Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

I host the feedback lists, which are maintained by drag0nfeathers.
http://www.sarahjestin.com/feedbacklists.htmJuly 14, 2007 at 2:39 pm #599432I’d pick one of the races I’ve created in my own writings, but for mythical creature, probably a Black Griffin or something like that. π Not a Poad ™ though, because I’ve always longed for wings. π
July 14, 2007 at 2:54 pm #599433I’d either be a scratcher dragon or a flapcat…not really sure…I’m writing a novel and there’s a particular side character I suppose I’d choose. She’s a cross between a dragon and griffin, my sketches are kinda bizarre but I call her a feather dragon…
July 14, 2007 at 3:02 pm #599434Do you have any sketches you could share, purplecat?
July 14, 2007 at 3:23 pm #599435My creature can change forms…she’s a winged kirin, but can change from pony sized, to tiny tiny, and she has one other form, that of an oriental dragon. The dragon is white and gold. I made her for the FurryMuck long ago.
She also has an anthro form, which I still go by. I have been known as Kyrin since 1990. She took a physical form in 1998. Some folks I know use my character name for me more than they use my real name. LOL!
I also have to make an effort not to sign emails to my Mom with “Kyrin”, is that funny or what?
Kyrin
July 14, 2007 at 4:23 pm #599436Dragon, dragon, dragon! *sigh*
The dragons I draw (& dream of) are, of course, slightly different, but of the Windstone dragons I’d pick the scratcher! Sinewy grace & cat-like pose π & wings to boot!July 14, 2007 at 6:26 pm #599437*giggles* I’d be a gryphon, of course! Cinnamon brown and tawny with flame crest (and tail-tip) and golden-covered red wings…like my avatar. π
Windstone collector in remission. π
July 14, 2007 at 6:52 pm #599438Koishi how about this one?

A fire breathing one

I love big Dragons but i wouldn’t want to be a windstone, the wings are too small. π
July 15, 2007 at 3:49 am #599439Hmm… I’d like to be a fluffy flioness, but something tells me I’d be closer in personality to the Muse or Poad. You know, kinda cautious and low to the ground? π
July 15, 2007 at 5:22 am #599440Well, Ive always wanted to fly… dream Im flying constantly. And, Im a Leo; a very true, blue Leo to the core. So naturally, Id probably be a Flion. I’ll back that up with a Griffin and then a Pegasus (though Ive dreamed of spending time with dragons but I was in human form).
July 15, 2007 at 6:52 am #599441Gryphon! Although I draw myself as a coyote nowadays I associate a lot with my fluffy golden-brown cougar gryphon Dakota. To put it shortly gryphons kinda symbolize what I wish I could be…at least the good traits. Strong, steadfast, noble, a loyal protector…and I appreciate the earthiness of the creatures, too. π
