Is there that much difference between the two batches?
I just purchased a gold lap from Karen on Monday based on the photo Skigod had posted of her lap in a thread a long time ago. I liked the buttery color, I just hope it doesn’t have too much brown. Well, I’ll see when I get it.
No, there is really not that much difference. The new ones are just a bit lighter than the old ones.
well if you like eachothers better you can just switchNovember 21, 2006 at 9:16 pm #510772Dragon Master wrote:skigod377 wrote:SilverArrow wrote:Is there that much difference between the two batches?

November 21, 2006 at 10:38 pm #510773I sat there and stared at it for HOURS last night…I had my finger hovered over the BIN button the whole time…My fiance even told me he would buy it for me for christmas…..but I had my Windstone priorities lined up, and it wasn’t in there…..course, one of my top priorities just fell through, too, so I really should have gotten it. BLAST!!!! Oh well – have fun with her, Kep!

Yes, I resisted as long as I could. My credit card is going to cry on me. 😥
Congrats Kep! You’re so lucky to get one of the first 10. I had emailed the seller last night to ask if it was one from that first batch, and she actually replied last night…but I would pick that one night to go to bed early! 🙁 So by the time I saw the seller’s reply this morning you had already bought it. I’m glad he has a good home though! 🙂
Actually, that is one of the main reasons/incentives for why I went for it. I saw that question and his answer that it was from the first lot. I really wanted one of the darker brown ones. 😀
Me too…but I’m happy for you! 🙂 And its nice that she’s “in the family”, so to speak…
November 22, 2006 at 4:35 am #510776Keplilly is the bidder who got the darker one. She is keeping it, though.

Yep! That is what I’m planning on.:D
While hiding somewhere in my head I'm on the lookout for white oriental dragons! Please let me know if you know of any available. Thank you!
November 29, 2006 at 11:49 pm #510778Wow! 😯 She is more brown…Yeah, she came today. 🙂

November 30, 2006 at 12:33 am #510779Thought I would do a photo session since I got the new Gold lap! 😀
Here is one of the original 10 next to one from the newer batch. Very different golds I think.

November 30, 2006 at 12:58 am #510780very different indeed
November 30, 2006 at 2:08 am #510781Neat! I like the lighter gold better. (And of course the only gold thing I have is a fledgeling, who is definitely the darker gold.)
November 30, 2006 at 2:12 am #510782I think I like the darker better. It looks older. I really like deep gold not yellow gold
November 30, 2006 at 3:35 am #510783wow, I like the dark gold better too. Blast! Oh well, the buttery gold is pretty too. I’ve been pining for one for months, I think my boyfriend is going to get one for me *crosses fingers and toes*
November 30, 2006 at 5:04 am #510784It’s neat to see the golds compared. I like the darker, deeper gold better too.
November 30, 2006 at 5:05 am #510785I like them both. They are different and unique.
