She is mostly airbrushed, but I also used a brush to blend the colors more smoothly in several areas. The metallic gold was hand painted as well. 🙂

I must agree with others here- this is my absolute favorite piece of yours I’ve seen. Absolutely gorgeous. Love the greens and browns (yummy browns), and the antiquing. Makes me rethink your raffle, but alas it would still have to be packed away so let someone else have it who can enjoy it now.

Awesome color scheme on that one, Machine!! I love him! I’m actually beginning to paint another phoenix in a blue and cream/brown color scheme kind of similar to him, and a little like the wings of Grayfire’s last dragon 😀
