August 19, 2010 at 7:25 pm #799782Here is my latest PYO! His name is Ishkode, an Ojibwe name which means “Fire”. The Indian war horse was highly regarded by its American Indian owner, who often honored and protected his war horse by painting tribal symbols upon the animal’s body. A circle around the eye was known as the Circle of Vision, which was believed to give keen sight and sense of smell. Hoof prints stood for the number of horses captured in raids. The Pat Hand Print was among the highest of honors and was always reserved exclusively for the horse who had brought his master back home from a dangerous mission unharmed.
“Ishkode” has been airbrushed in brown & white with hand painted detailing. I have tied two hand painted feathers around his neck with sinew. He has blue glass eyes. He has been sealed with a high gloss varnish and his felt pad is signed by me.
“Ishkode” is $150.00 or best offer plus shipping, first come first serve. PM me or reply here if interested!

August 20, 2010 at 4:42 am #799790I’ll have to ask my aunt. She’s got our family’s “history”. My brother said we’re part of the Blackfoot tribes, but I don’t know how reliable he is, he said he looked at her history, but he’s dumb, so I don’t trust him to have read it correctly.
August 20, 2010 at 4:43 am #799791I love the unicorn, it’s fantastic!
