Okay guys, my Bengal Winged Wolf is finally complete! I have named him Neosho, an Osage American Indian word that means “water that has been made muddy”. I could see the name Neosho in his face and found it to be quite fitting for his coloring. 🙂
There are dozens of blending layers, both on his body and wings. I used many different shades of color in his fur coat and within his feathers. As a finishing touch I highlighted each feather with a warm shade of ivory. His wings were inspired by the Red Tailed Hawk.
He has been sprayed with a satin varnish, and I have signed & numbered his felt pad on the bottom. He will be for sale on eBay, starting tomorrow afternoon. I’ll update when the auction begins! 🙂
