well the first thing is the paint is probably not going to be quite as bright in person as in photoshop. And the second thing is…even if it is. Who cares! Its a fantasy creature…go wild! The bright windstones are always my favorite ones anyway!!!

I found this on google
and came up with this idea, colored on the computer….
I like him from the knees up…but I wasn’t sure what to do with him from the kees down. I’m hugely open to suggestions and critique. Or, should I scrap the color scheme and try something else? (in which case, I had another, yet more simple idea) Yes, I know the coloring is rough. :p
THAT HAS GOT TO BE THE NEATEST KiRin I HAVE SEEN YET!!! That ROCKS!!!!!!! π― π― π
I think using a green on the lower leg instead of brown would look better, but other than that, that is amazing! I LOVE IT!

Maybe instead of making them spots, you could stick with the real fish markings and fade to brown and then add one big white stripe in the middle….just like the fish in the photo. π
You know what, I agree with you Whippet….the koi spots dont really match the real fish.

Also, I don’t know what kind of fish he is…I think he may be a clown fish that was either touched up in photoshop or else its just a REALLY bad picture.
UnicornLover-YAY sister Houstonian! Do you actually live in the city limits, or in one of the suburbs?
OH! BTW, I am JUST NOW catching up on the past comments LOL! π π , nope not a photoshop pic and yes, that is a REAL clown fish and he really DOES look like that. I have had MANY salt water tanks, and a few of those guys, they are SOOOO COOL, and yet SOOOO tempermental πΏ ! Actually had one come up on me and try to peck at me (they dont have teeth LOL) while I was cleaning the tank….it though I was in its territory ROFLMAO! π― π
