Oh big thunderstorm!! Pouring rain. And one of my neighbours is making coffee, I can smell it. I love the smell of coffee, even though I don’t drink the stuff.
yes that’s always a warm homey smell…
I make coffee candles… but sometimes they are too pretty to burn..
June 23, 2008 at 7:38 pm #717127Love the smell of coffee. And I live right down the street from Dufflet’s Bakery so in the mornings I get the wonderful smell of fresh baking bread. Yum!!
What other candle scents do you make??
June 23, 2008 at 7:49 pm #717128Awesome day!
I paid $300 for a $1600 bed cuz it was a floor model. That made me smile 😀
They picked up 8 more people for promotion, so there are only 5 more to go till its my turn, so it will probably be in August.
I live in paradise 😀
And I have a job with much responsibility but I am not in a meeting right now. That is a miricle.June 23, 2008 at 8:04 pm #717129Jasmine wrote:Love the smell of coffee. And I live right down the street from Dufflet’s Bakery so in the mornings I get the wonderful smell of fresh baking bread. Yum!!

Fireworks! Yummy BBQ yesterday with friends. The kids having a blast sliding down the slide into the kiddie pool, SPLASH! Much laughter ensued…I love to hear the kids laugh.
Having hay in my shed, and horses!

Haha! My mom saw him in concert about two years ago! My dad managed to catch a tamborine he was holding and had signed! 😀
I just need to spray my friend’s griffin and it’s finally done!!! (this one has confounded me for some time – artist’s block and just trying to get what she wants out of her and stuff). Means I can finally work on my cheetah griffins and some other pyos for me! whoo hoo! It makes me smile.
Oh, and we have baby Eastern Bluebirds in our backyard (which is odd, we are in a village, not in the country). They kicked out tree swallows out of that nest and wouldn’t let them use any of the other holes. Miss the tree swallows, but this is indeed a treat! 😀
June 25, 2008 at 1:10 am #717133hrm, things that made me smile: My Dad had a pet scan done yesterday and the cancer in his lung is completely gone!!! 😀 😀 😀
I got a new bass guitar a few weeks ago, and i just got a new baby leopard gecko!!!
Stella!June 25, 2008 at 1:19 am #717134EWWW… those things give me the creeps…

June 25, 2008 at 2:16 am #717135I think he’s pretty. Hope you don’t have cats…
Last lizard I bought years ago (was a fire-bellied salamander) died within a week because the cats decided they were hungry. One had diahrrea for a week so I think I know who it was too…
June 25, 2008 at 2:20 am #717136Getting out of the hospital … Good to hear the cancer is in remission KMD 😀
June 25, 2008 at 2:32 am #717137Going out to the barn and seeing the baby chicks always makes me smile. For that matter, several of the first-generation adult hens will hop on my lap if I sit down: that’s also a smile. Seeing the tiny morning-glories growing wild in the lawn is a smile. And the tomatoes slowly appearing in the garden is also a smile, although it’s a little drooly. Haven’t had fresh tomatoes in forever!
Dragon87: Hmm . . . I’m fairly sure that the fire-bellied salamanders are mildly poisonous. 😛 Bad kitty!
June 25, 2008 at 2:41 am #717138I’m smiling because I somehow managed to sell my old beat-up car! A 1998 Hyundai accent. It had loads of problems too, but one of the girls I worked with said her husband wanted a hatch-back with good gas mileage and didn’t care about all the problems…he’s used to working on cars so he could fix it up.
In the end…I sold it to him for $500! I wasn’t asking for much of anything due to all its issues. But he kept telling me to name a price so I did!
A few days later after they took it away, I asked how it was doing and the girl said that her husband was soooo happy with it!So I’m glad it found a new home because it was my first car and I’m glad it has made someone else happy too! 😀
My most wanted list: carnelian mouse wizard, copper patina frog wizard, autumn leaf poads, pumpkin spice kitties
