No, I cannot. I can do trades though (I’ve traded with others in the past). Ddvm traded with me for this dragon. π
A painted or a production piece, if I may ask?

I think he is the most beautiful Windstone EVER painted, next to the Autumn Leaf OW. Didn’t your other griffins sell for $3 grand? I guess at that price, we’d all be happy to see them go for ONE grand π I told myself that’s too much (for me) to spend on a Windstone, but maybe for one of your Griffs, Nam. Lots of love will go into each one, and that alone is worth the extra π
May 22, 2007 at 8:24 pm #578231Whoops sorry! Double post

Hehe, the Sun Griffin went for that much, but the other went for less than half that. You have a great chance! π

Yes! He’s beautiful and mint, not a blemish or speck of dust on him. He’s the nicest one I’ve ever seen out of all the ones people here have photos of! I’ll take photos for you. ddvm was very very sweet to trade him with me.

May 22, 2007 at 9:05 pm #578238nambroth, do you only work on one piece at a time or do you alternate between two or three so as not to burn yourself out? and how many hours a day do you work on pieces?

I usually alternate between pieces, but with these griffins it’s easiest to keep the colors consistent (since I have to paint more than one) if I work on them back to back. That helps so I don’t ‘forget’ how I achieved a certain look or color. It gets very monotonous though.
I tend to do art all day and I switch between painting griffins and other work for Windstone (forums, Cafepress, etc) so I cannot give an exact time I spend per day, but at least 8 hours on average I think. Some days I’ll spend 12, 14 hours painting. Some days it’s only 2-5. It just depends. π
On some days I do my other work though so at least I’m not usually painting griffins 7 days a week. I work all 7 though!! π

π³ I don’t think I’ve ever been called sweet before π³ π
Actually, I’ve been figuring it was my best trade EVER! He got a great home with someone who really appreciates him and I’m getting one of Nam’s PYO dragons! He is absolutely beautiful – Nam emailed me pictures and I’ve already drooled over him several times today. So it was the best kind of trade – everybody’s happy. π
May 23, 2007 at 5:37 pm #578241Okay here are photos of the Jade Scratcher!
Some different views:Outside in the leaves:
My camera has a hard time capturing his color properly. He’s very pretty. *cuddles him* >_>
