very exciting!
4 things I'm looking for:
1. Mother Meerkat
2. production color Sitting Young Oriental dragons to be made in more colors besides VF, Brimstone would be awesome!
3. Female Griffin – Siamese with White
4. September Raffle Prize 2022 AHD Male GriffinNovember 18, 2013 at 9:46 pm #905340Pewter is, by far, the easiest metal to produce the horns with and some other metals, like aluminum, are hard to plate as well. We have simply had other priorities, but we did finally set up our casting equipment again and cast some small batches of horns. They still have to be finished and plated, so don’t expect much of anything until after Christmas.
That’s great to hear I hope they work out. 🙂 (Crosses fingers for PYO unicorn horns)

YES! I’d love to try my hand at a PYO Unicorn as well! Maybe in the New Year?! 🙂

*** Come visit me on deviantArt at http://ela-hara.deviantart.comJanuary 6, 2014 at 3:34 am #907470That’s both good to know (I did wonder, later, whether aluminum would really take to plating as easily as I first assumed!) and awesome to hear (I’ve got Christmas money burning a hole in my pocket, and I’ve been dreaming of Lap Dragons)!
Thanks for keeping us all updated!
Interested in buying or trading for: GB Pebble Sitting Red Fox in dark grey, Lap Dragon Test Paints (Water Sprite, Glacial Pearl, Opulence, Pastel Rainbow, and many others - see my Classifieds ad), Blue Morpho OW, GB Pebble Loaf dragons in blue/aqua/teal, and Griffin Test Paints (Black Rainbow or Frosted Jade).
February 5, 2014 at 9:07 pm #908467Ah, I was beginning to wonder why some of the dragon sculpts (laps, for one) aren’t available anymore. (New person, here!)
I hope the issue will be fixed someday so I can fill my shelves with some. 😉

It’s been a while since we heard anything. Any news???
April 8, 2014 at 5:57 pm #911231Nothing since the pewter horn/blue roan discussion a couple of weeks ago.

In that thread Melody said: “I think we should do unicorns with the polished pewter horns. I like them. Maybe a new regular color? and pyos??
whadoya think?
-but the important part is we have -HORNS!! HORNS!! HORNS!!”No decision (as far as I know) whether the horns will be gold plated or stay pewter color.
April 8, 2014 at 6:16 pm #911233We are still working on casting lots of horns. They all have to be sanded and polished individually to get rid of seam lines, and I think we are probably waiting until we have a LOT of them before we sent them to be plated. Right now we only have a small amount of each kind polished.
