Same, same, though everyone seemed very friendly from what I’ve seen so far. I’ve always hoped for that group dynamic, in which I will be a valued member of the team. I’m so excited!

      Finding happiness again.

Well, I got my CDL-A, that was the HARDEST thing EVER. Worse than any college class! If anyone else out there is thinking of doing it but as raw as me, I’d advise finding a tech school offering it as an 8 to 12 week program, not a 3 week like the one I took. It felt like 6 weeks of training compressed in half. Man, it was a mountain dropped on me, but I did get it!
So next month I should start a new career driving truck. Maybe I can finally earn a living income and get health insurance. (and Windstones maybe sometimes!) My daughter is staying with my mom (hopefully college will be a possibility for her now too) and all my Windstones packed away, mom has the pets and half the orchids- other half are with a friend.

Congrats pipsxlch! I only have a class B for driving buses, but I remember my hands-on training with the school I was working for. I was completely TERRIFIED the first time I got behind the wheel to actually drive! I can’t imagine driving a big truck and trailer, but 9 1/2 years later I’m still loving what I do! 🙂

After dealing with redness and adult acne for the last 5 or 6 years, I think I have finally found an over the counter treatment for my rosacea. My face hasn’t been this clear and free from redness in all that time. I am only using it once a day too. My husband can even see a difference. He (obviously) didn’t mind it before, but he’s amazed at the change after just a week.

I need to tell my mom about it. She might not get as good results because her rosacea is worse than mine, but it might help.

The product is called prosacea. I found it in the first aid/beauty products area at Walmart.

Oooooo… I might have to try that!
Are you applying it at night time or in the mornings?

I’m doing it in the morning after I get out of the shower. I was my face with Johnson’s and Johnson’s Purpose face wash, dry my face and then use the prosacea. My face has a brief flushing after putting it on, but it fades taking more redness with it each day so far.

Dude. That’s impressive Ski. Many kudos to you!

And for my own little Heck Yeah! After my car was totaled out by the other guy’s insurance, I went out and got a new car. Got an awesome deal on her too. 🙂

Wow, Ski, congrats! Think I’d have drowned before I got 1/10 mile.
Since I haven’t been able to work (and no income OUCH), I manned my church’s pumpkin sale. I painted pumpkins and was paid for it, made over $100! I’m not an artist, so it was really cool to have people like my work.
I was given some old pottery pieces from an abandoned shed on friend’s property too, and it looks like one may be worth something. It looks like something called Newcomb Pottery, from the marks. I don’t collect pottery though, so I’m kind of lost on these.

Hmmmm can’t help you on the pottery but props to the pumpkin painting!! The alliteration was totally unintentional!!
