Hubby and I get to be handlers for two friends in fur suits tomorrow during downtown trick or treat. They thought it would be less creepy if they were out and about with someone who has kids.
Anyone have any advice? I’ve never been a handler before.

From what I’ve read on a dA Furry’s Journals, the handler would make sure that people coming up to the furry were aware that this is NOT a creature you can just come up to and ‘pet’ or sit on. Run interference and be the ‘introducer’ so-to-speak for the Furry and the ‘Humans’ wanting to say ‘Hello’. Basically common sense stuff. If you were walking a big dog you wouldn’t want people to just run up on them, right?

I made cheese today. 😀 Ricotta, which is really easy. Though it never comes out perfectly ricotta-like, the texture varies with every batch I do.

Small heck yeah – after being sick with crystals and then a 24 hour kitty tummy flu, my 2 year old cat Casper is doing great! So happy that his health is good after what the poor little dude has been through this year. 🙂

My First ‘Heck Yeah!’ is pretty major…
This Friday (11/15) is not only my Birthday, but it’s the first day of my Vacation/Renewal from work, which will last through the end of December! That’s right! After tomorrow I’m OFF and don’t go back to work until Thursday, January 2, 2014 !!!!! Heck Yeah! 🙂
I’m going on vacation over the Thanksgiving holiday with my Hubby, and then when I return home the first week of December I’m going to be painting my PYOs! I have a couple Muses, a Dragon, a Keeper, a Mother Foo and a Flying Wolf…. might not get all of them painted, but I’ll have time for a great start. Heck Yeah! 🙂
