We went to our last reptile show of the year yesterday(boo!), and we mostly went there to get reptile food. We also came home with our first Silky Bearded Dragon. I’ve always wanted one of these and only recently have the prices become reasonable. Brandon got it for me as an early Christmas present. A Silky Beardie is a scaleless beardie, like this one:
I’ll have to get a pic of mine. It’s still a tiny hatchling, but they grow fairly quickly. I also need a name!

December 5, 2011 at 10:44 am #864471To bump the much too ignored “Heck Yeah!” thread… skip this if you don’t want a nerd moment!!!
Just got my new powerhouse of a machine set up yesterday! It’s not top of the line of everything you can get on a computer (because it’s not worthwhile shelling out $1000 minimum on the top of the line graphics card when in a year that same card is worth $200… ok it’s not quite that bad, but close enough to not be worth it)… but it also plays brand new games (re Skyrim) on the highest settings (higher then consoles such as PS3!) without a glitch. It’s beautiful. <3 haha. *hugs machine*

December 14, 2011 at 11:56 pm #865586We’ll we are not hired on yet, but we pretty much passed the interview. My sister was the one who was going in for the job because I am unsure how reliable I would be with this stomach issue..but it looks like there could be a way for me to work with my unpredictable stomach and for us to share hours.
We go in Tuestday to try out the machine, he wants to make sure this is something my sister would enjoy first and me as well if I wanted. And even if it turns out I can’t really do it, he said I could put my art up in his shop to sell and display!
