He’s very pretty! Great job on him Valdata
November 30, 2013 at 4:40 am #905804Wonderful work Valdata, love the colour palette! 😀
Still waiting anxiously for my swap to say something! The tracking says it was delivered about two days ago so hopefully they’re just out of town or something! 🙂 (It says ‘Falcolf’ on the box in brackets!)
Check out my finished artwork at http://falcolf.deviantart.com/ and my sketch/studio blog at http://rosannapbrost.tumblr.com/
Excellent!
November 30, 2013 at 6:57 am #905812Here are pictures of Solstice, the kirin I painted for Zloy. He was originally going to be browner, but the fall leaves had started to turn and he wanted to be orange. So..fall leaves..trees..forest. They were taken in the sun. His oranges are deeper and his red scales more red in person:
I am very happy with how he turned out. He pretty much painted himself. 🙂
Now? When’s mine gonna get here? 🙂 Waiting patiently..mostly.

November 30, 2013 at 3:11 pm #905826All such lovely pieces! Good job everyone! [Watching for mine–waiting impatiently]
November 30, 2013 at 4:11 pm #905830I love love love love love mine! Thank you Tara! Not sure of the forum name, as she signed her felt pad with her real name, as I had. 🙂 Here are some pictures. She really is too gorgeous for words and fit my prompt exactly (dark forest).
Thank you so much everyone (especially Tara). This is my first PYO swap, and I’m super glad I took part of it.
November 30, 2013 at 6:49 pm #905840Oh, cool, I like the dark forest one!
November 30, 2013 at 6:57 pm #905844Here is ‘Mnemosyne’ from the wonderful Ciarnet! It was such a treat to get such a lovely PYO Keeper from someone who has knowledge of Greek mythology! XD I love the autumn leaf keepsake, such a nice and perfect touch. She’s great and her colors are just what I imagined. I only wish the pictures could show off the gold touches and how her eyes sparkle. Thank you so much!

I got mine yesterday but I wasn’t able to open her up until today (she got to me safe and sound with nary a scratch). Got a few pictures of her outside (no bright sunshine, but still better than inside). I’ll post in a few minutes. I never remember how to do the html for posting pictures, so I have to look it up every single time. ^_^;
-sighs- I looked up where mine is and it’s still not where it’s supposed to be. Apparently it’s took a ‘side trip’ to Denver, CO on the 29th. Hopefully it will get to it’s recipient soon though.

I love doing a theme & seeing how diverse everyones interpretations are!
Mine was supposedly delivered Wednesday…going to have to double check tracking I guess, getting rather worried about if he made it there in one piece…or maybe she just hates him…*worry, worry, fidget*
November 30, 2013 at 9:00 pm #905851Yeah, I think having the week of Thanksgiving as the main delivery time is a little frazzling and nerve-racking for everyone. 🙂 And, then, just not knowing when your piece is going to show. Oh! Here comes the mailperson! Dang! There goes the mail person. Tomorrow?
Nice pieces so far. Really like the rainbow-ish Keeper. 🙂

Love the colors of this fellow. Looks fantastic Ciarnet!!
November 30, 2013 at 10:06 pm #905858Mine has arrived from Kiya! I’ll get some pictures here in a bit, but I just wanted to make sure to post that she arrived. She’s a beautiful momma Foo in autumn colors named, appropriately, Autumn. This is the first time I’ve seen the Momma Foo in person–boy does she have a lot of detail. Excellent job, Kiya, and thank you!

Yay, I’m glad she got there safely and that you like her. 🙂 I’ve never painted a foo momma before (I don’t paint much, lol!) She was really intimidating. I also maybe was working 65 + hours at work and finished her up 4 days late… Sorry about that! (Yay priority mail!)
Also, sorry for the fancy outer box. It was the ONLY one I had that vaguely fit. I’ve been recycling my shipping boxes after my husband complained about them taking over the garage and discovered I had nothing to put her in! LOL
It was a comedy of errors this year I swear. 🙂
November 30, 2013 at 10:54 pm #905861Also, I got my lovely phoenix from Ladyfirebird! She’s really pretty! I’ll get photos later, but if you have any you’d like to post, go for it! I want to get some in natural light, but I’m sick and can’t really go outside right now. I finally had to send my husband out to fetch the mail. 🙂
November 30, 2013 at 11:34 pm #905862I forgot to mention the suggestion I had made so I figure I’ll add that now. The suggestion I had made was a forest turning from green to it’s autumn colors (red, orange, yellow, purple). So I think Mnemosyne reflects that wonderfully.
