Love the color on the wings!
Yes 2 hurricanes in the same town in two years 🙁. Some people are just now finishing repairs from Florence. Tornadoes and water spouts are popping up like mushrooms on Emerald Isle which is 30 minutes from me.

I blame the complexity of nature for being too difficult to imitate.

DRAGONS: Male CoyoteI just put mine in the mail today, so don’t feel too bad Phoegonix. I wanted to make sure mine was fully dry after sealing it (that and our post office is only open for like 2 hours on Saturday mornings, and I never make it.)
Mine should arrive at its destination on Wednesday or Thursday. Some lovely stuff so far, can’t wait to see more!
My piece arrived and is an absolutely adorable Skeleton Kitsune from Landipan!Thank you so much! I ADORE her! Unfortunately I get home after dark now and the pics I have don’t even begin to do her justice! I will get some natural light pictures on the weekend!
Other than that, I have been in communication with everyone, except one person who has stopped replying to emails :/ I am currently giving them the benefit of the doubt, but if I don’t have pics of an in-progress piece or tracking info by the 15th, I will be posting their name, and assuming they have deadbeated. You know who you are – don’t worry, we all understand life happens sometimes, but it’s a lot better to fess up to being late than to just ghost and be ineligible for future swaps. I hope they are just having a busy time/overwhelmed and their completed piece arrives to their swap partner any day. And rest assured, I will purchase and paint a piece as requested by their swap recipient if they have, in fact, ghosted.
