Thanks guys.
I’m looking at photos of underwater reefs to try and get a handle on how to paint the rocks and corals. I’m from Colorado and ocean rocks are just not something I’ve ever had a chance to see in person.
I’ll post new pictures as I make progress.

Well, here is a start on the rocks and corals. I’m not sure if I want to add a lot of bright colors for the corals as I don’t want them to overpower the colors I used for the Hippocampus.

I love the purple/blue/green colours you used on the kirin and hippocampus. I think the rock looks good but if you did add some colours to the corals it might go well with the rest of it.

I have her finished and ready to sell now. She has lavender eyes and amethyst jewels. She is very hard to get accurate photos of but the outdoor and last 2 photos show her most accurately.

My goodness, I have not seen one hippocampus I didn’t love! These colors are awesome!

Ok, so I tried my hand at my first Keeper Dragon. She n I had several disagreements about what color she was going to be. I was WANTING her to be white with a few touches of purple to help highlight her scales. Ermmmm, as you can see she didn’t want to be white. So we finally compromised on purple. I am calling her Amethyst and she will be up for sale or trade and listed on eBay as well.
