I agree. That would stink and I would hate to see that happening.
February 5, 2007 at 3:11 pm #534293I figured 3 was a good number because is there is someone who is ehre all the time, but gone at that moment or moments it takes for them to sell out, π that there are alot of people who pick up an extra. I am thankful taht Ski picks up an extra one, she seems to keep me supplied with them! π
February 5, 2007 at 3:13 pm #534294Hey, Ski, I know you buy to resell, but either only after quite a while, or you find those hidden auctions and make the profit the first seller missed out on. I think that’s fine. My argument for buying Windstones is they’re an investment too – though I know I never plan to sell them. I just agree with what Arlla said.
February 5, 2007 at 3:14 pm #534295I like the idea of limited the auctions to 3, but I still want the email notice. π I’m not sure if you can do that on Ebay – limiting, I mean. I’ve never sold large quantities of things before, so I don’t know.
February 5, 2007 at 3:15 pm #534296I’ve never sold on there either. I don’t know if you can limit, but it would be nice if they could!

Its ok, I didnt take it the wrong way. I am sure there are some that dont like what I do, but I dont do anything wrong.
I also dont like to see people buying in bulk and then reselling, like BTWeddingcreations did. I dont think thats very kosher. She is probably on the mailing list and just buys a whole bunch to resell later. One I can see, but not a dozen. π I guess we can just remember that bidding is volutary. We dont HAVE to buy these things that people are relisting.
February 5, 2007 at 3:26 pm #534298That’s the way I look at it too Ski. If we don’t buy what they do that with, they don’t make the money, and maybe they will eventually learn to stop doing that. It really isn’t fair, but there is nothing wrong with making a profit either. (It’s sorta like me sending you double postage π ) The way I see it, I am not going to pay more than I think the item is worth anyway. It all depends on how much whatever I am bidding on is worth to me. π
February 5, 2007 at 3:35 pm #534299Maybe this will encourage Melody to list greater quantities. I would rather see the money go in Melody’s pocket, so Windstone can stay in business.
February 5, 2007 at 3:37 pm #534300π π Now there’s a remedy I really like!
February 5, 2007 at 3:46 pm #534301Speaking of which… I just fount the emerald curl up on Ebay. I’m going to bid, I just hope it doesn’t go too high π₯
I promised DH I would only do the emeralds so the only chance I have of expanding are these limited production auctions.February 5, 2007 at 3:47 pm #534302Yeah. I agree. I would rather see the money go to Windstone. (That is why I wish they would do requests on older sculpts/paints, but am happy to get what I can)
Maybe they can figure out a way to make sure that the “Dedicated” collectors can have first crack at them, until then…I just keep praying I am on ebay for the BIN lists…If not I have to rely on the good graces of others to procure the ones I am not there for. π
And I would personally like to thank everyone who has helped me in any way here on the forum. π -
