Thank you for posting pictures and I’m glad you like it Bodine. It’s supposed to have coloring like prismatic spring. Blue, green, yellow with a bit of brown like the dragons. Since it was my first PYO I can see all the mistakes 😳

I forgot to mention all the lovely sea shells from Myrtle Beach she sent me.I love sea shells.I have shells from east coast,west coast,gulf coast and mexico. I have the perfect place for them but right now the breeding pair are being good parents trying to hatch the babies.They keep falling off the magnet.I don’t want to put anything new around the tank,makes them nervous.I will though.Thank you Ferlin.That was very sweet.

So pretty, Ferlin! Your color-blending is really nice – I wouldn’t have guessed it was your first PYO. And FYI You will always see ALL THE MISTAKES. We ALWAYS notice them more than anyone else, because we remember how fiddly/annoying/just plain hard parts were to paint!

Thank you all for the nice comments! I think I might try my hand at another one. I really enjoyed painting it. I used around 10 different colors I think maybe more and then ink washed it for an antiqued look but it got a touch dark.

I got my hippocampus from Dashesndots today! I set up a little photoshoot and discovered my phone camera is too good…my pictures are coming out waaaaay too big to post here. I’m not sure how to fix that….

A big ol box just showed up from the Windstone Factory and my jaw hit the floor! So many thanks, Melody! The keeper is STUNNING and my pics don’t do him justice. It’s very overcast and dreary today, so I will take more pics at home when the light is good! I can’t believe how perfect this guy is. I love him so much. His paint scheme is gorgeous and the little details made me grin like an idiot! Look at the adorable little bats on his chest scales, and the gorgeous crystal skull in his claw! He will have a place of honor in my home, always. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
