Here is my latest Wolf, She is SOME PIECE OF WORK!
SCULPTURE (C) WINDSTONE EDITIONS 2006
Painted By: TaneeaOk, first off, thank you all for your advice AND compliments. As youve probably seen, she DID NOT SELL on Ebay. π₯ πΏ π₯ . Now, before I think about re-listing her…I would like the opportunity to offer her to the Forum members. And because she didnt sell. I dont think I will be doing another (series as I was thinking). She was ALOT of work, and expensive to create. And if they arent going to sell…then whats the point to do more and waste my PYO Wolves and more importantly my time right? OR If you all want them, I could just offer them to the Forum Members ONLY. I dunno, what you think??
Anyhow, if anyone is interested in her please PM me, and I will work it out with you. First come first served LOL….I just want to get the money back from her and maybe a little bit more to help pay for this recent HEAVY HOSPITAL BILL coming up here. And I have NO way on paying it. I was just there last week….I was in the hospital because my feet, ankles and calves had swelled up like grapefruits! They thought I had a blood clot in my leg, otherwise I wouldnt have gone. They did EVERY test under the sun…from, EVERY BLOOD test known to MAN, ultrasounds on BOTH legs, and an EKG. The only thing they could confirm was the fluid retention in my legs. BUT as far as the cause…. NOPE, couldnt find a thing! I am healthy as a HORSE they tell me! This MAKES NO sense what-so-ever, that really is sooo strange and freaks me out when they cant find the problem. Then again the Doctors here got thier PHD outta a cracker jack BOX! I then went to my regular doctor, and he put me on a diuretic(sp?), that at least got rid of the fluid retention, but my legs and ankles still HURT REAL bad.
I am also willing to send her out of the U.S. I have just never sent anything over seas. So anyone that is overseas is going to have to direct me on how the addresses are supposed to be LOL π
ANYTHING you all would care to offer would help! Thanks guys!

About OOAK – I wouldn’t bother with that claim too much. Since she’s hand-painted there’ll never be another like her, but why deny the possibility of making another one similar if someone wants it?
As for the series, series are fun. If I were you, I’d look into American Indian spirits. Take the spirits worshiped by a certain tribe, or take all the spirits you can find for wind, water, earth, or whatever element, and make a wolf for each one. That’ll give you a guideline of how many to do.February 17, 2007 at 5:47 am #541175Greater Basilisk wrote:Well, DC, this wolf looks great. Very American Indian. YES, the wings have more to them than it looks, but I didnt want them to take away from the “whole” wolf, ya know? π Theres ALWAYS a METHOD to the MADNESS! HEHEHEHE!!! π π π
February 17, 2007 at 9:24 am #541176Glad you liked my idea. Which spirit’s name does this girl get?
February 17, 2007 at 10:24 am #541177I saw this one on Ebay! The feather looks awesome and really brings it all together.
February 17, 2007 at 11:27 am #541178I saw this on ebay too and I think it’s really really neat!! I really like the face paint and they symbols on the shoulders. Awesome! And I think a series would be a great idea. I’m planning on staying away from the term OOAK from now on, myself…

-J R R TolkienFebruary 17, 2007 at 7:15 pm #541179WOW! Thank you guys! Think I should take out OOAK, just in case someone wants one as well?
GB, “Spirit” is her name, I consider her the “Medicine Man” of my Wolves (If there is a demand for them for the series). NOW, if you come up with something better that strikes your fancy…..let me know I will gladly ADD to her Name π
February 18, 2007 at 4:39 am #541180I like the idea, but I don’t like the white around her eyes. I hope you get a good price for her and that you get to continue the series.
February 18, 2007 at 4:44 am #541181Thank You! I hope so too! I had ALOT of fun doing her!
The white around the eyes is almost like “War Paint” but in a more spiritual way in this sense. I had “AFTER” the fact of doing that saw something I liked better….BUT I had already done that and didnt want to mess anything up LOL. But I will use that idea on the next one! π I am GLAD to hear there is at least one person that would like to see the rest of the series “go into play”. πFebruary 18, 2007 at 4:49 am #541182I understood what it was, but there was something about it that I didn’t like, the rest is lovely.

Actually, I think it’s good to call the first one of a series something different than the rest. I call my PYOs after people and things and places from Greek mythology and history, but my first griff, Pliny, was a Roman. The first one is set off that way.
Now I’m looking forward to your next one!February 18, 2007 at 9:35 am #541184Greater Basilisk wrote:DragonsCavern wrote:GB, “Spirit” is her name, I consider her the “Medicine Man” of my Wolves (If there is a demand for them for the series). Actually, EACH different one is going to have their own unique name. Just this is the first one of HOPEFULLY the series. NOW I am anxious to start my next one when I get my Wolves and more Dragons in Tuesday! YAY! π So far there are 2 of you that would like to see the series take off. I am kinda cautious though about it, I kind of want to see how this first one is going to do (which has NO bids yet…DANGIT LOL)….ya know? BTW I changed the auction up a bit in wording if you want to check it out and let me know what you think. π .I really appreciate everyones input on this! Thank You everyone! π
