look at those cute little faces.
June 22, 2018 at 1:38 pm #1540392We forgot to photo them from the front , but here is one pic I took on my paint wheel. Most have some decorations on the front , but this one has more than most do.
June 22, 2018 at 1:49 pm #1540394Sometimes a grab bag batch is absolutely MURDER to paint, and I struggle with every single piece ( The Baby Pegasus, for example)… and sometimes a batch is so much fun to do I don’t want to stop. This was a fun batch. So, YEAH I would love to paint another gb pebble batch of something in the same style as these tanukis. Maybe the horse, or maybe I’ll try painting the the new “Risen loaf’ Pebble dragon like this. The pebble dragons are both a real pain to paint, which isn’t good. Those dang wings …they really slow me down.
I think doing a grab bag of the pebble corgis would be a great idea!
What do you mean there are no such things as pebble corgis?? They are practically a loaf already.

June 22, 2018 at 2:11 pm #1540400Wow, I love the rainbow of colours and all the designs on those Tanukis! I hope they are not too much for my bank account! When will they be in the store?
Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!
June 22, 2018 at 3:50 pm #1540423They are so gorgeous! I love how bright and colorful they are!
June 22, 2018 at 4:30 pm #1540446The tanukis are in the store!
June 23, 2018 at 6:45 pm #1540525I’m with Ela_hara on this one. The Tanuki is not my favorite sculpt, but I love the color shift with the rainbow patterns! Down the road, how would a similar color scheme look on the pebble horses? Or maybe colorshift Cougars with rainbow safari patterns? These Tanukis are georgous. I didn’t want a Tanuki, but I may have to order one.

Melody, these are the most fantastic and gorgeously intricate GBs I have ever seen! If you did Cougars or Fennecs or even Lady Cats like this, I might faint (and have to be revived by large GB orders). <3

June 23, 2018 at 7:29 pm #1540528Intricately painted Carousel-style horses would be interesting!
June 25, 2018 at 1:15 pm #1540567How may people on here own ( or are fans of) corgis? Seems like around here they are nearly as popular as Golden Retrievers.
June 25, 2018 at 1:25 pm #1540568I don’t have a Corgi, but I think they are adorable. One of my neighbors has a couple.

Me too – I had some neighbors when I was younger that had a couple of Welsh P. Corgis, the ones without the tails. So cute and really sweet doggies!

Oh, Melody. I could post your Corgi sculptures, if you made any, in a couple of Facebooks communities, and people would be expecting thousands of them to be available. Corgis are super trendy right now, but the lifelong base is even more rabid in their dedication to Corgi merchandise.

July 2, 2018 at 8:02 pm #1540842I prefer Greyhounds or Salukis to Corgis, really. My Animal Artistry Greyhound figurine has pride of place in the window of my art room, and one day in the future I plan to adopt a retired Greyhound or two!
They’re not very “Pebble-shaped,” though, alas. Except maybe when curled up in the “donut” pose. 🙂
