I don’t know how to do anything right now.
You can come over and see all my Windstones and help me post them if you are still here after I get my last few on my list if you want to
I have 2 on the way hope for 2 next month and then only 2 after that, at present. We all know how that shopping list grows!!

What do you think?

December 16, 2007 at 9:40 pm #597880Yeah, I was lucky, the glass was easily removed, just held in with rubber gaskets. Then we popped off the muttons, which were held on with little brads. Pulled out all the brads, sanded the spots a little, repained black, applied satin finish, reinstalled the glass and wha la! Redone curio!
We really like it alot better. Before all that extra wood got in the way of viewing. We were a bit worried about modifying a $550 cabinet, but we figured, after looking at its construction, that it was a calculated risk of screwing it up.
Our main worry was the glass, and when it proved easy to remove, we went for it. Total time it took was maybe half an hour.
Your cabinet though, looks a bit more solidly built.
