WOW WSC! That is some collection! Lookin good! I really like the stone sculpts. They look nice up there, and they are bigger than I thought.
October 27, 2007 at 6:01 pm #597687TY! 😀 It doesn’t show all my candlelamps, unicorns, or pegasus, along with my poads and flion and cherubs though…They are all over the living room!! 😆 😆
I like the gargoyles up there too Ski. Many of them are pretty big! 😯October 27, 2007 at 7:27 pm #597688That looks great WC! Nice hurricane lamps, too.
October 27, 2007 at 8:16 pm #597689😯 …WOW…. 😯 Your name is not WindstoneCollector for noting! Great collection!
I can’t wait to be able to enjoy mine when I move (all in boxes)…right now I can’t even recolect what I have 😆October 29, 2007 at 7:24 am #597690😯 😯 Wow, WSC!
October 29, 2007 at 12:46 pm #597691Holy cow!!! Gorgeous!!! 😯 😯 😀 😀
October 29, 2007 at 1:00 pm #597692I hear ya BDW! I do still have a few in boxes too. 😯 I also have the bear candlelamps but nowhere to display them currently. I will get there though! 😆 😆
I am hoping next year to buy a house…Maybe…LOL 😆BTW…That 3 pc set takes up one entire wall in my livingroom! (and was in the middle of a cleaning) 😆
October 29, 2007 at 5:38 pm #597693How many do you have now??
October 29, 2007 at 10:24 pm #597694I currently have 155 production (156 when my Brown Momma Griffin gets here.) and 8 pyo’s.
84 retired peices
1 limited edition
18 LP (soon to be 19)
34 current.
I am pretty proud of it. 😀 I have to talk everyone’s ear off about it when they come over, as if they don’t notice its there. 🙄 But, sometimes the fever grabs someone else too! And that is the best part of it! But alot of them don’t understand why I would pay so much for them…Then I try to explain that when I started collecting them they seemed expensive which now seems like pennies. 😆 Also, I tell them to look at it this way, some people choose to invest in booze, or drugs, or stocks, or whatever…THIS is MY investment. And it has helped me to become more healthy over the years. As I learned the value they held and how much I had invested, I realized I’d like to spend as much time with them as possible, and I’d like to keep their worth high. I stopped smoking, I don’t drink (Often, maybe on New Years or something and only a couple), I began to walk or excercise (I don’t like the cold, but I refuse to Leave Illinois. 🙄 ) almost daily, sometimes I am lazy. 😆 But, it has been a road well worth the travel to have the collection I do have, and I am grateful for it. 😀October 29, 2007 at 11:13 pm #597695good for you!!
October 30, 2007 at 12:11 am #597696Awesome collection 😀 It looks great WindstoneCollector

November 7, 2007 at 7:42 am #597698My collection is not nearly as impressive as most of you guys. Ironically when I came here, I was selling (only one more piece to go) my original collection. Seems that now that loved ones understand that ONLY Windstones will do, that that is what they get for me as gifts. And what with a new house, the house warmings have been practically of nothing else… not that Im complaining!
These are NOT in their proper places and not where they will be displayed. But right now they have to hang where they are and I couldnt handle keeping them cooped up in their boxes after my final move.
BG Coiled/Curl family
http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k30/AdvDept27/BGCoiledCurlfamily2.jpgAll the Dragons I own (but will get more curls as they come out, and past/future coiled moms if I can afford them)
http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k30/AdvDept27/CurlsCoiledsFledgies.jpg
http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k30/AdvDept27/Curlsabove.jpgBlack Pegasus Family
Black Unicorn Family
Black Hoofers together; Small black flap; Zebra PYO by mmloda that was a gift from Siberakh ( <3 ), and a Maya piece- "Healing"- a gift from Ski (<3 )
Misc grouped together
Muse and Siamese Flap for mom; Mipa’s memorial flap to my Calico, Suki (err- which is still at my mothers! Snarf! Gotta grab her next time Im there! DARN amazing resemblance I must say. And, it wasnt a blatant repaint. The flap was mutilated and she repaired it. Obviously a repaint that is nothing like Windstone schemes, says repaint, date and her’s and Suki’s name on botttom and will NEVER, ever be sold of course).
Griffin bachelors
Black (violet) Griffin Family (Anthony only just found that retired male for me and fixed up the damages)
Brown Male Griffin with his chicks and pearl sitting chick (with croucher sibling on the way). He will take care of both sets of chicks as I dont plan to get his mate, nor do I plan to get the pearl adults. Id like to find the Striped Tan Brown Male and if I do, maybe they can be an alternative couple 🙂
All Griffins together (but imagine the pearl croucher chick in there along with the rest of the Black Sunset family)
November 7, 2007 at 7:46 am #597699I cant see them right now but it sounds like a great collection!! Looks like we turned the selling around on ya! 😆
November 7, 2007 at 8:19 am #597700Oh wow, nice going, PhoenixTears! I just love the Sunset griffin. He’s gorgeous.
