Must be a “newer” color of it, I always thought that the first peacock was more “black”…. that has a lot of blue and purple, I LIKE IT! 😛

hmm…well it’s what all the OW’s I’ve seen looked like….the one I had was pretty bright….but I put him on ebay when I got my white one…..I had 3 OW’s…and didnt’ see a need for all of them

I am looking at the pictures at Astral Castle of the Windstone Editions Encyclapedia and their picture of the OW peacock looks nothing like that one!

hmm the one on there is pretty close….it has less of the champagney looking color down the front…

which most of them have….but it depends on who painted it…

the one on astral castle doesn’t look like a typical one to me….although it could be the lighting

That is very true! Lighting is everything when you want to show the colors well! I can see the purple on the chest but I don’t see the “brighter” blues. It could be the lighting. While growing up I remember drooling over the ones at Wicks and Sticks and those Peacocks were a darker color… Who knows! I have been outta the “windstone loop” for a long time! 😉

I just received the peacock coiled I won on ebay. I got it for only $56 and thought that was a great price especially since it is mint.

I’ve had a small Windstone run lately. Dragonessjade traded me a BG curled dragon for my VF1 curled. I never could come to appreciate him, but I LOVE the Black Gold version.

And I also ordered the pair of black griffin chicks and a light-beaked momma. Momma’s not here, but here’s the chicks with Daddy.

Last count including PYOs to be given as gifts this holiday season: 30

lol, she does in that picture, I also love how the white old warrior’s hand is right next to her head…he could reach over and squish her without a thought she’s so small!
