Well folks, sounds like the first batch of white spectrals are very special “freaky eyed” Spectrals!

well they are more reflective in pictures than the ones with the black…..

I didn’t even notice it till I got home and put the two spectrals together for the picture… 😀

and I didn’t even know about the sparkley paint effect until someone told me….LOL
we both found out days after since it was overcast when we where in No HO

So, any particular reason why you included the white Wizards, but not the white Griffins??? 😛

well because the white wizards are actually the same pearl white paint as the dragons….but the griffins…and not…they are more of a wintery white…

besides….there wasn’t any more room to get them in the picture….hehe

Too bad you can’t squeeze them in. I’d really like to see them all together. I think it would be an amazing sight!!!

I just got my white sitting spectral in the mail yesterday. At first I was bummed that the eyes were so light (since I like the reflectiveness of the dark eyes), but in normal lighting I like the overall look better with these eyes. I think they blend better with the white color scheme than if they were dark. My only question is if they will pick up low light levels the way the dark eyes do?

Frozen, could you take a side pic of both your white spectrals together? The photo effect in your previous post might have been due to the angle the sculp was at.

Melody – If you keep the eyes light in future batches you should try that glow in the dark paint you mentioned you had used on some test paints. I think it wouldn’t be that noticable in the day, but at night, oh boy!

Well, I got the Emerald Oriental from Romeodanny. We met, had coffee and yogurt at Williams Coffee Pub, too! It was a lot of fun and I had a grand time. Here he is with his little buddy (and the button I have to sew back in – oops).

I also got the intense violet mother to go with the male I bought from Emerald. Methinks they might be a bit crowded…

Oh the orientals look good together. And they do look good with that box. It was so much fun meeting you, I’d love to do it again.

what button are you going to sew where and why??

Is the male an IVEP too? Curious since I saw one in a store a little while ago, but I’ve never seen them in person and wasn’t sure. Just wish they weren’t asking $174 for male dragons *sigh*.

Yes. They were part of the original batches out to store before they decided to tone down the violet. They are just stunning!

Nice additions, Medley! Those IVEPs are really dark – almost as dark as the old peacocks. Is that normal?

                    #597264

I think there are still IVEP in the ebay stores. I purchased my mom in a store, so I am sure you can find them around.

My local dealer still has one or two.
