With a new year, its time for a new thread of collection photos!
I’d like to show off my new Sled Dog candle lamp ^_^ I don’t remember the original ones, but of the recent batch, I think this one is the prettiest. Its #6. #5 had a dog (farthest to the left) that looks EXACTLY like my husky, Roxie.
I think they all look like they are having a discussion. I wish I knew what they were saying.with flash

Dream on.That husky lamp is beautiful! It really does look like they are gathered around the campfire.
My collection has grown a crazy amount since I renewed collecting last February. I only had one display case barely full, now I have two case, and both are packed full. I have 7 dragons not behind glass, which drives me nuts because I hate dusting. So hopefully nothing wonderful comes into the store for a bit now, because I need new shoes and a new display case.
I’m trying to find other things to use to keep any dust off…
And my growing oriental family!

about the same for me…started out with 3….I now have 30 plus…I started really ramping up the collecting about a year ago….
4 things I'm looking for:
1. Mother Meerkat
2. production color Sitting Young Oriental dragons to be made in more colors besides VF, Brimstone would be awesome!
3. Female Griffin – Siamese with White

Blue Ice Emperor and Blue Ice Male. This is a very VERY hard color to photograph! I need to wait for a downcast day outside to take better pics because full sunlight washes them out completely. This is the best I could do indoors without setting my photobox up:
Hades Male and Hades Young. Also kinda hard to photograph.

Your Blue Ice are beautiful Wampus. One day I will own an Emperor…..that is what i keep telling myself anyway.
My little family is also growing!
New in this picture is the Red Eyed CP Fledgling. And while I will admit that I prefer the teal eyes on him, I do love the distressed copper look! The texture gives him a lot of character.
And new in this one is the Green Young, thanks to Skeeterdeee for helping me get my hands on one! Again, a color that I like a lot more in person than I though I would from pictures.
WOW that Ice Blue Emp is amazing! Even in less than awesome lighting. Wampus, can I come live in your house so I can stare at all your Windstones all day? :love: I can cook!

Seriously!! I started collecting VERY casually in October of ’10, and I now have a collection of over 40 pieces ><And with that, I'm going to go take a picture of my newest

It is frustrating to see certain deals come up and not be able to do anything about it (Had I not overspent on xmas I’d not be so frustrated, lol) ‘n I’m still tryin to see if I can find *some* way to get the funds together to get these 7 dragons… but either way it goes, I’m having lots of fun learning more about Windstones and the following they have! I have a strong feeling my usual spending I do for the Renaissance fest is going to be cut short a lot this year for Windstones ;p haha
I don’t know if I’ll have 40 pieces at the end of the year, but I’m hoping to have a couple at least

I started in about ’07 with one teeny Baby Ki-Rin. I had seen Windstones before as a kid at gift shops without knowing what they were, just thought they were pretty. Then years later, my roommate in college had a Windstone catalog with the Ki-Rin family in it. From the depths of my childhood memories I remembered those Ki-Rins and swore I’d have a family someday!
So it began with that one little Ki-Rin…and then a Dark Peacock Young Oriental…and a Mama Ki-Rin….and finally a Daddy Ki-Rin….
And now I’m up to 53 pieces…. O_O
