So cute! The only ones I’m missing are the same ones you are (my red fire is one of the red-eyed escapees as well), and that copper patina hatchling. Nice pics and thank you for sharing! It does take a while for those little guys to wiggle their eggs around into formation, doesn’t it? 🙂 I think my old brown and old green (would have to look again) have ‘tongues’ (I know at least one does, but I thought it was both of them).

Oooh, awesome! I don’t know how many red-eyed red fire ‘escapees’ there are, but I haven’t heard of many.

I think the tongues are adorable. 😀

Ah! So you got the male palimino! I really liked him, but the brown eyes=meh. If he had blue eyes or better yet-metallic teal-I think I would haved imploded.

Suffice it to say, that there was a dragon, newly hatched. He was unique and unusual, his coloration vibrant and his eyes bright and gleaming. His color was like polished bronze, and it was so beautiful that his egg’s shell decided it liked the color so much that it’d steal some for itself.

Love your story Stephanie! (and no, I dont mind at all for the photo linkage.) I didn’t know any red eyed hatchers escaped. Learn something every day!

I actually have one that has red eyes as well.

I bought this off Laurie. <3 I think Ruby is a perfect color on the snobby little lap dragon, haha. This color is hard (for me) to photograph accurately – I don't know what it will look like on your monitors, but this is as true as I could get on mine. Enjoy!

I used the close-up as a link because I didn’t want to shrink the pictures to fit the new forum. Anything under 700 pixels wide is just too small for my taste (the originals are more than 2x that), so click the image above to go to the album to see the rest. =)

Edit : actually, it looks like most of the picture is showing in my post…but I’m too lazy to change it now. XD *runs off*

Thanks! I was looking at my memory stick files and realized I took about 40 pictures of her, trying to get any I liked. D: She turned a weird day-glo red in some of them. Mystery.

This is arguably one of my best finds. Cost a pretty penny though. He appears to be in pretty much perfect condition. Definitely worth shipping an emperor box across the country to get him.

The picture doesnt even begin to let on how pretty he is. His entire sides and tail is covered in purple interference. He pretty much glows purple under incandescent light.
