I love the contrast of the green eyes and blue jewel. Very nice!
Love baby kirins, safari poads, mini keepers, and anything BLUE, BLUE, and, oh yes, BLUE.
It was her piece but we have done the last several swaps together for her pieces. she designed the idea and pattern and did the scales while i did the fur and the detailing around the scales. She originally wanted bronze around the scales but we decided the black looked cleaner and sharper.
I can picture the bronze in my head and I think you guys made the right choice in going with black. It’s quite nice this way. Thanks so much! 😀

Hey Kujacker! I’m so glad you like him! He was a little challenging to paint, only because you had other PYOs done with this same character and I needed to come up with a fresh design, but it was great fun! I really liked working with the Fancy Ki-Rin and I’m happy that he’ll fit in nicely with the rest of your group. 🙂
I’d love to post some additional photos of him and I will, but I just got back in town mid-day Friday, and I have sooooooo much unpacking, laundry and stuff to do this weekend, that I won’t be able to post photos until Monday.Speaking about that, I received MY Wonderful, Wonderful PYO Swap piece while I was out of town this past week. I just had to open the package immediately! I wanted to let you know Melody, that I did receive it safe and sound and it’s stunning! It KILLS Me that I need to wait until Monday before I have time to properly photograph and post my Swap piece – but it’ll be worth the wait – I promise! I’m so lucky! :love:

The lighting is horrible today but I wanted to get some pictures up to share. I was having a rather bah-humbug day until I came home from running errands to an adorable package. I can’t believe you manage to get the depth of color out of pastels, he is beyond words.
The theme picked was traditional Sparrow Tattoo. Enough of my jabbering, and onto the pictures. Again, thank you so very much, I absolutely love him! If you have better pictures, please post them. My flash washed him out a bit.

That’s the invisible sparkle paint. It’s all over his body but it’s easiest to see on black, specially in photos.

I had suggested that anything Safari or Fantasy, or a combination of both, would be great for me, and I especially liked ‘stripy’ or patterned schemes. I got back into town from my vacation on mid-day Friday last week, and I was so excited when I saw that I had my package from Windstone and realized that Melody was possibly my Swap buddy. I am STILL Stunned at what she did, and I can’t believe my good fortune!I received THIS Wonderful, Wonderful, AWESOME Beauty! :love:

Here’s a photo of the Hippocampus next to my Royal Birman Flying Wolf (done by Falcoff), so you can see the relative size. 🙂 The Hippocampus is soooooo detailed and has [Edit-I miss counted, it has Four gems]. 🙂
