That’s very cool, Pam…wish I could have seen it too. I see some shooting stars now and then, since I drive home from work in the early morning. Anybody awake early enough to see how bright Venus is this month? It’s really bright and stunning.

I’ve seen shooting stars, but nothing like that! Incredible! 😀

That sounds really cool. Living smack dab in the middle of Toronto, I’m lucky I can see the sky at all through all the smog 😛

But when we go to visit hunny’s parents in Tobermory, it’s all forest so I get to see all the stars come out.

Ok, this is REALLY weird. I saw another shooting star tonight, but this one was really different. I swear I am not making this up. I looked up and there was this green light in the sky, about the size of my pinky nail. It was small, much smaller than the moon, but bigger than star size. It was GREEN. Yes, bright, glowing, GREEN. My b/f was with me again this time too, and he saw it as well. It moved semi-slow, like helicopter speed, in a horizontal but downward slope. A red tail started to grow out from behind it (after about 2 or 3 seconds) and a secod or two later the green light flickered and died, along with the red tail behind it. We can’t decide what exactly it was. My b/f thought maybe firework, but it was really high up there, I didn’t hear any noise, and it was in an area with no houses. And seriously, who shoots off just ONE firework? As far as it being a shooting star, it was about 50% slower than any shooting star I have ever seen. Then of course, there is the fact that it was green.. My mom suggested aeroplane, but they have red lights too, not just green. And they blink. And make noise. And they don’t start flaming and then suddenly dissapear (not normally anyway!) I told my b/f to hurry and make a wish because if it was a shooting star, it’s got to be a really lucky one!

So, yeah.. WE’RE BEING INVADED BY ALIENS!! 😀
