I understand how you feel as well. It does take time. Sometimes our new little Patti does some things that remind us of our Hunter who had to leave us way too early after a little over two years in March. In fact, Patti has a few mannerisms that are so freakishly like Hunter at times we catch ourselves calling her ‘Hunter’… she’s really helping us get through the pain though.
Give yourself time and hug your little boy – Morgan is such a nice name.
Morgan seems to be copying some of her old mannerisms lately, he’s talking a lot more like her which before this he only spoke a little, seeking more attention like she used to which he only did from time to time before this….
I will and I have been, Morgan has been a little more clingy since Jinyxy passed, he doesn’t like to be left alone even if it’s just while we go to the store…..so we’ve been giving him lots of love and attention so hopefully he feels less scared soon of us leaving the house….
