I know it’s not a remake, but she just won’t listen to me! 🙄
May 1, 2008 at 9:59 pm #672687Hey, Peg, I have a question. Are you just including normal auctions, or are you including the BINs from the eBay stores too?

Yes, all BINs are included as well since they show up under the completed “auction” seach.
May 2, 2008 at 3:13 pm #672689Ok, then I’ve got one for you to add that’s missing :). Young Oriental, light peacock, mint. 02/17/08 for $209.99. Apparently the most expensive one for the database, but he kept calling me back to him…. 8)
May 2, 2008 at 6:56 pm #672690Oh wow, how’d that one slip through the cracks. He was bought on ebay yes? I’ll add him with my next round of information. I love the light peacock young orientals. I want to find one of those for my own collection.
May 3, 2008 at 6:40 am #672691A slip every now and then isn’t too bad, considering how much work it all takes . I don’t know if I could keep it up. And yeah, I got him off eBay from BT. He was just sitting there, unloved, for a couple weeks. I had to rescue him. 😀
May 4, 2008 at 3:46 pm #672692*Swearing* I just looked at BT’s feedback and from what I can tell NONE of the pieces they sold recently show up in a completed auction searches. That’s how I missed the sale of the light peacock young oriental dragon you bought. *Bangs head against wall* Ebay must have changed something for those auctions not to show up.
May 4, 2008 at 5:31 pm #672693Don’t take it to heart, Peg. You’re doing an excellent job with the database. We’re lucky you’re willing to devote so much time to it. 🙂
May 4, 2008 at 6:13 pm #672694It’s just a little frustrating, that’s all. I know that B&T’s BINs used to show up under completed auction searches so why aren’t they showing up now? I guess since I’ve been working with the database so long I can look at some of the prices listed in it and go “That was a B&T sell” with a fairly decent accuracy. It makes me wonder if the sales of some of the other “dealers” on ebay are showing up.
I wonder if they aren’t showing up because the items were in an ebay store. That’s the only thing I can think of. 😕
May 4, 2008 at 6:24 pm #672695Being a store might be the reason. It isn’t a regular auction with a completion date/time.
May 4, 2008 at 6:27 pm #672696Hmm. o.o You haven’t got that Old Green Male I bought off Grandma Beasley either. It was a BIN in Stores, too. =
May 18, 2008 at 9:20 pm #672697Ah ha! I found how to include store listings in completed searches. Yay! Have to love scrolling all the way down the screen and seeing a box that says “include/don’t include store listings”.
I’ve also updated the list of needed pictures!

If you still have the date and price send it along to me (along with condition) and I’ll add it to the database.
July 6, 2008 at 1:35 pm #672698Okay I’m really not liking ebay right now. I haven’t changed a thing on my completed items search, but less and less items are showing up in it (1 to 2 pages worth). Every once in a while I’ll get what appears to be a full completed items search (usually 4 pages worth), but I can only access the items on one page of it. 👿 Very frustrating!
I’ve actually had to go in the Windstone’s latest auction thread to follow links there to see how items ended because they aren’t showing up.
I’m starting to go through and add each days auctions to my watch list, just so I can know how the end.
July 7, 2008 at 3:12 am #672699What a bummer, pegasi 🙁 That’s got to be frustrating. I hope you can find a way around it somehow!
July 7, 2008 at 3:17 am #672700I’ve reported it to ebay and it seems like I’m not the only one to have the same problem. To get around it for now I’m adding lots of things to my watch list. I don’t delete them until I grab the final information from them.
