I know what you mean about a best friend. I had one for over 20 years. We moved in together and she moved out about a year ago. I haven’t talked to her since because she doesn’t return my phone calls. I have thought about her and have often wondered how she was doing. I haven’t been that close with someone since she left.Her surgery was scheduled to start between 2 and 3 – I’m a nervous wreck. The waiting is the horrible! I thought waiting for a Windstone auction to end was bad….
Ok, when I’m stressed or nervous I tend to make bad jokes…
YES! IT WAS AN ABSCESS AND NOT CANCER!
I got a very garbled message on my answering machine from one of her friends in NY – don’t have all the details but she repeated twice that it was an infection and no sign of cancer! Unbelieveably happy at the moment.
Thanks everyone! All the good thoughts and prayers worked.
I have to say the last two days were about the worst in my life (and that is saying a lot). I can’t imagine how Andrea felt. And everyone else is celebrating and she is probably too drugged up to know!
