Photos of new and "camera shy" Windstones

Many times I’ve looked at dragons in the Windstone store or on other Windstone sales sites and thought, “If only I could see more photos, I could better decide whether or not to buy.”

This gave me the idea to start a topic where people can ask to see photos of new, rare, or seldom photographed Windstones, and members can post photos of them for the benefit of everyone on the forum. I’m sure I wouldn’t be the only one who would appreciate this, since as we all know, Windstones can look quite different depending on the lighting and from different angles.

This isn’t meant to simply be a place to post photos of your commonly seen Windstones (we have the Show Off your Collection topic for that), but for dragons that have not been extensively photographed.

I’ll start with these:

Amethyst Emperor (I’ve only seen the store photo)
Copper Patina Emperor (again, only seen the store photo)
Gold Old Warrior (I’ve only seen 3 or 4 photos, all from the same angle)

Let’s see if we can’t expose those camera shy Windstones! 🙂

Though I need to get better pics of him, I can at least help out with a couple of pics of the copper patina emp that I took when I first got him.

I would like to see pictures of old brown hatching royalty, old brown and old green fledglings, and an old brown emperor besides my own.

I have a gold old warrior at home. I’ll have to dig him out and see if I can get a good photo for you. Most of my windstones are in boxes, as we work on rooms in the house, including my room.

We have thought about this, but in most cases it would not be very beneficial. Something like the CP emp sold out with just one pic, and the next time we make them they will probably look different and require a new pic! Taking multiple photos is very time consuming. So, it would really only be effective (maybe) to take multiple pics for items that don’t sell out fast and whose color scheme doesn’t change everytime we make a new batch!

I second that. This one is probably the only flap cat I’ll ever want and given its price, I’d want to be sure.
