Now, these are going into regular production, or LP? Also in agreement with Jennifer! These are all awesome.
Out of curiousity, how many pebble sculptures are there now? And will you be making any fantasy ones, like dragons, or winged kitties (sleeping winged kitty pebble cat…i would die right then… 😆 ), or just regular animals? These are intended for regular production, hope to get these into retail stores. Still need a few more designs to make a “line”. Right now there are only -uh- four, three cats and the fox. One of the cats may be too dinky to sell to retail stores.
I have a couple of pebble dragon designs, but I don’t know how successful that will be, they are kinda stupid looking… and of course a pebble poad for the “in” crowd..December 22, 2010 at 8:08 pm #834326Melody wrote:… and of course a pebble Poadâ„¢ for the “in” crowd..
Lol! How ’bout some birds. Like a ptarmigan? Maybe not. Non-birds might work better. Bear? I’m surprised that a ferret didn’t work.

I love the Fennec! Here is my happy Fennec cry!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Su3ovMsFXMgThe sound on my computer doesn’t work! -but I have heard that they sqweal like little pigs.
I can see how people would think that. The sounds can come off very similer but it definitely is more canine, It’s like if you shunk a hyper husky, they also can make some funny high pitched noises for thier large size.Fennecs are incredibly socially vocal. My sister can sound just like one.

December 22, 2010 at 9:50 pm #834336Are the pebbles cast in gypsum like your other sculpts? How’d you get such a wonderfully tactile finish on the fox?

December 22, 2010 at 10:04 pm #834338Pebble guinea pig! Or chinchilla 😀 I like the idea of the ferret, too. Why didn’t that one work out, may I ask?
December 22, 2010 at 10:06 pm #834339I thought those bats were decorated cotton balls at first! It took me a few minutes to realize they were real!
