E and I are REALLY behind – the muses are here but I’ve had some scary health issues (like not knowing where I am or how to get home and having the Sherriff department out looking for you… 😳 ) Hopefully we’ll be better equipped to work on them this weekend…

Kalandra painted two beautiful Muses for me: Lucy and Barden, I will share the pics soon as I set the jewels on Lucy BUT I had to remark to bayoudragon!! I only use 3 jewel spots, you are using a 4th that I don’t see is really for a jewel but do see how it can fit one!! Interesting 🙂 That spot on the side, the top one, but the spot below that isn’t really for a jewel, OR IS IT?? These things are so highly detailed, that you could probably put a few more jewels on LOL I just wanted to find out for sure, if I was missing something 🙂 Good luck everyone, I can’t imagine painting one of these cutesies!
I really don’t think that spot in the ropes is for a jewel, but the hole just kept bothering me… I had to plug it!! 😆
I also like having the “two sets” of spots. I can either put them all the same color… or use two colors and still have it balance out. One little odd jewel by himself just didn’t seem right. LOL!
What is the mm equivalent for pp18 and pp24? I generally buy real stones and they are usually measured in mm.

And bayoudragon, I know what you mean, those 4 jewels does look really neat, and there are even more places. I put clear swarovski’s into my first Muse, and while with the naked eye in real life they glitter like diamonds, on camera they don’t even show up – the more sparklies, the better!!! I am going to try amethyst for Lucy – or opals, going for real gemstones this time. She deserves them 😉I just stick in whatever fits 😳
