I’m trying not to speak for Melody here (Melody you can come beat me with a noodle if I’m out of line) but with their reduced staff even after the move and potential legal issues, I don’t think that Windstone can, themselves, host a raffle to benefit a charity.

What they can sometimes do is to donate an ITEM to a charity and then the charity can then raffle said item, legally. Win-win.

That is something you should write or call Windstone for directly, not on the forum, once they are moved and have time and resources to consider such. 🙂

I like the raffles, even though I only learned about them with the last one. I think it’s a nice chance for some of us to win a special piece, which I know I would never be able to afford on E-bay or through an auction.

I too vote for the continuation of the raffles. I’d like to think everyone can win something, even if they haven’t had any luck winning anything before. Maybe this is your time to win. 😉 I appreciate your generosity and willingness to take your hard-earned (and I imagine limited) free time to do this for us. I love seeing everyone get so excited, the thrill of possibly winning, the anticipation the day of the raffle, and those eggs are cute! 😀

I think the raffles are a wonderful idea! 😀 Please, if they’re not too much trouble, I’d love to see them continue. Sure, the odds of winning are pretty small, but it’s still a lot of fun to try. 🙂 Mystery pieces and “known quantities” are both fine by me. And what a nifty way to find homes for pieces that you might never sell or eBay. You can be sure that there will always be someone who’s interested in whatever-it-is! 😛

I love them!!! Who on Earth could justify being dissapointed? They didnt have any less than they did before the auction, and they had a chance at more. The raffles are awesome and so very nice of you to do.
