I definitely will keep up on updates! As I hear them, I will type them! You all are so caring! They definitely need all of these prayers and wishes that you all are sending them! KC and I will be leaving here shortly to go to the hospital again. I am hoping to see Mallory myself, but I am not sure if they’ll allow it.

They are both going to be just fine, I feel it. It isn’t going to be easy or quick, but they will pull through.

Meanwhile, I’m wishing and hoping and sending good thoughts your way along with everyone else.

My thoughts and prayers are with Carol and Mallory.

My niece had identical twin boys that were born at 24 weeks by C section because she went into early labor and her doctor didn’t believe her and by time he did it was too late to stop it. One weighed 1 lb 3 oz and the other 1 lb 5 oz. They spent 3 months in the premie ward at the children’s hospital in KC, MO. Today they are 13 years old and doing fine. At the time they were born the doctors told my niece and her husband that it would take 4 to 5 years for their mental age to catch up with their physical age and that is about the time frame it took. Today medical science has become so much more advanced for this type of thing that I am sure she will be OK.

You definitely have my prayers. I’m glad that Carol is already doing better. I will pray extra hard for little Mallory. I can relate on a personal level here.
My oldest son was born at 27 weeks. He weighed 1 pound 10 ounces. He is now 26 years old and married. I know they are able to take even better care of premies these days. I also have twin nieces born at 25 weeks last February. They both came home this week.
Hugs to you and your family

I am glad they came home this week! This has made me more optimistic! I am really worried, but I am trying to believe that the best outcome will occur. It does make me realize how blessed I am so far. I still can’t believe how small she is!

Thanks for all of your prayers and warm wishes, and PT thank you for lighting those candles for Carol and little Mallory!

When I saw pictures of my son for the first time I thought he was beautiful. I would show them to visitors and they would smile politely and nod 😆

I had an emergency C-section and abnormal bleeding before and after delivery and was not supposed to move from my bed. The Doctor in charge of the preemie ward took a couple Polaroids and gave them to me so I’d have something in the meantime. That just made me more determined to go see him 😯 After the third time I dragged myself out of bed and passed out they decided to just take me to him 😆 I’m sure Carol will be much better. 😉

                          I like your vibes Kyrin!

I saw Mallory today, and she is so much smaller than I expected! She is so delicate, and it wasn’t until today that I was told the severity of her situation. It was so cute because I saw her move a little bit, and she stuck her tongue out too.
Carol is in a lot of pain and it bugs her that her legs are numb, so when she tries to walk, that feeling overwhelms her, and she becomes dizzy. She almost fainted today while trying to walk to the bathroom. I hope she feels better soon. She is worried about Mallory, but at te same time she is being optomistic by saying how strong Mallory is. Lance went to a class about preemies today, and he learned a lot. I’m afraid that it worried him more, but he is also trying to stay strong for Carol’s sake.
