Because to get a money order, I would need to have cash. I don’t. I’d only be able to put something on my credit card. So unless PaperCut takes credit cards, which I doubt since she doesn’t have a business, I would have to use PayPal. That’s why PayPal is better. 🙂

I understand the not having cash thing but at the moment it’s the only way I can sell them. i hope to be able to use paypal eventually but i don’t know how long it’ll take. ^^;

That would imply that I have the money in the bank. I don’t. I’d have to put it on a credit card. That’s the problem.

Has anyone heard from PaperCut? I pm’d her on March 6 and have not had a reply; nor has her posting been updated. She said it might be a few weeks, but it has now been a month and I am wondering if she has decided not to sell. Does anyone know anything at all?

it’s taken her a long time before.. if it doesn’t say it’s sold.. then it’s probably still up for offers.. you’ll just have to be patient.. I know her internet time is extremely limited lately.. it can’t hurt to send another PM..

I think the difference comes from you have to have the money up front to purchase a MO. With a personal check some people will try to “float” them (basically write it when they don’t have the money in the account in the hopes by the time it is cashed the money will be there). So there’s no chance of “bouncing” a MO like there is with a personal check.

Ah. 😀 Now see. I never float checks. If I don’t have the money I don’t write the check. :yes: Of course I’ve never bounced a check in my life either. 🙂

what’s the deal with western union money transfers through the phone? Can you use a credit card or paypal with that?

I don’t know. I have sent monies through them, but I always paid in cash. Honestly, I HATE banks… 😡
And, yes, a MO is like cash. Can’t bounce it, but there are some banks who won’t cash them, or so I have heard. :scratch:
