If you look on the first page it is in progress and the eyes are out… it looks like a zombie there… 😉

Do you guys normally pop out their eyes when you’re painting them? o_O I thought you just put liquid mask on?

Some do and I don’t know how… if you PM them they might tell you since it is a hush hush subject… Windstone doesn’t want that info out in the open… Jennifer can go more into that than I can. 😉

I don’t usually pop the eyes out (but I know of at least one member who does). This poor sculpt was stripped of his original paint job (he was grey, purple, and red) and washed multiple times. The glue holding in his eyes isn’t waterproof, so the repeated washing caused it to soften, then let the eyes fall out 😆In-progress photos. Still needs his browns finished and cleaned up and then he’ll get some interference blue and green:
Estimated completion time: 4 months 😆

I had that happen on a PYO of mine as well. Susie was kind enough to send me a replacement which worked out better for me because I was able to change the jewel color as the original one wasn’t looking right with the paint job I was working on. 😆 He went from having a topaz to having a jonquil.I forgot to say he’s pretty! The blending looks so soft.
