So, now that you aren’t going to be based in Hollywood anymore, are you going to change the “Hollywood” to “Corvallis” on the felt pads on the bottom? and on the hang tags? and on anything else that says Hollywood? (moving is so much more work for a company- all the little details!)

Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

I host the feedback lists, which are maintained by drag0nfeathers.

My art: featherdust.comApril 20, 2008 at 2:10 pm #692080I’d like to know too. Also, will you keep the griffin as your logo symbol or will you use something else? 🙂
April 20, 2008 at 4:32 pm #692081I asked her once, on a thread, when she first announced they would be moving. She said that, yes, they would have to change them.
For collectors, this may mean that eventually the items with Hollywood on their pads will be more valuable than the things with Corvalis on their pads. Something to keep in mind.
April 20, 2008 at 4:57 pm #692082Great question! I think a logo change would be cool, but I’m not sure how difficult it would be. Is there a registration for such things?
April 20, 2008 at 5:49 pm #692083I don’t think the logo should be changed- just the location. Windstone has done too much branding with their current logo over the years to change it now, plus it can confuse collectors.

April 20, 2008 at 7:09 pm #692086Good points. I just figure everyone knows what Windstone is and changing the logo commemorates the move. Those who don’t know what Windstone is, wouldn’t know the difference.
But I also see everyone’s point about keeping it the same as well.April 21, 2008 at 1:40 am #692087Jennifer wrote:I don’t think the logo should be changed- just the location. Yea, the little griffin guy is cool! He’s happy and needs to stay 🙂 And Emerald-I was thinking the very same thing, reading through the thread. One day, maybe 5-10 years down the road, we’ll see: “HOLLYWOOD Gold male dragon!” hehe

Yep. I think so. 😀
April 21, 2008 at 5:22 am #692089I wonder what they’ll do with the felt pads of critters that they painted în Hollywood but moved to Corvallis before they sold? Unless they plan on getting rid of, say, the ALSK before moving her north… 😛

We will, but we will have many months worth of inventory that we will be selling from Corvallis with the North Hollywood address, so it won’t be immediate.
