It should have killed the deal before it even got this far, but Tami really liked the house, so I looked past it. At least now we know we are making an informed decision to walk away.

YA THINK?

There’s some insulation missing at one end of a bedroom, my guy with the FLIR camera spotted it. A normal inspector would have NEVER seen that. So then we went back and forth with the seller about it, and decided they were lying through their teeth about having it repaired, so we ashcanned it.

Perfect entry place for condensation which leads to mold.

Erm, no. Still getting there. But I got an e-mail yesterday saying I would most likely have the keys on December 5th. The sellers aren’t being ornery or anything like that; I’ll have the contract draft in my mail any day and from there it’s a matter of days.
