Yup. Because evidently you’re suffering from insomnia and I am bored (though I shouldn’t be) and together we shall stay occupied.

insomnia borne of migraine, yep that’s it….can’t sleep, clowns will eat me, can’t sleep, clowns will eat me….I don’t know if my headache is worse or better for staring at the computer….at least I’m occupied so I don’t notice the pain as much? And it is rather interesting seeing the refresh rate and it looking like what Cox is doing to our cable right now….stupid idiots…makes it look like super pixelized Microsoft paint….>.<

I got an e-mail from the trustee yesterday saying he has to wait for something to be clarified about the waterpipes from the spring before making the contract draft. That should take a week or so; I’m still letting this sink in so I’m in no rush.
An aunt, however, is saying it’s too early for me to be buying a house and I should travel for a while first… The American side of the family keeps hoping I’ll end up over there again after all.

Nothing says you can’t get a winter house out here in Cali…. 😳 😆 8)

              Haha! I’m not that rich.
(And if I was, I’d get an El Camino, finish up my Silver project and visit a few places before buying a second house halfway round the world.)

Buying a house and traveling aren’t mutually incompatible  I’d say that during the first year when you settle in and have all the unexpected stuff come up, traveling is out, but afterwards, once you’re in your grove, then it’s simply a matter of saving up for it. Granted, it might take longer, but you can be a house owner and see the world. I don’t get it…

Me neither, which is why I’m not backing out of the deal. 😀 Besides, my favorite form of travel is also fairly cheap – load a backpack and hop on the bike. And I’ll be doing even more of that once I move into the chalet. 😀

                  Our deal is dead.
                  Back to the hunting.

Rats. I’m sorry, Snap. Of course, whichever house you end up getting will be the best one for you. 😀

It’s OK. It’s not for wanting it, we killed the deal. The sellers were lying to us.

Oh, for crying out loud!!! What about? Can you disclose?

I don’t want to bring down the level of intelligence. Let’s just say $1100 went spent on inspectors and we caught them in their own lie, they thought they could steamroll us by refusing an extension on conditions, so we let the conditions expire at 9 last night.

We plan on driving past the house in a month and laughing at their for sale sign as they sit and ponder how they are going to afford two houses. I would pay another $1000 just to see the look on their face when their agent told them last night that we refused to sign off.
