I don’t mind the red so much, but I think I would have stuck with the black edging around the green on ALL the feathers…..instead of the lighter green around the darker. Looks cool tho!

I’d actually planned to stick to dark edging on all the feathers – until Mom suggested trying something new. Laërtês is unique patchwork. 😀

Yep!!! Beside, he is really cool!!!! If it wasn’t for the commission, I probably would’ve gone for him myself 😆

Really? Well, I promise your griffin will be a tad more natural-looking than this guy. It’s easier to copy a bird onto a bird instead of a butterfly onto a bird. 😆 But Laërtês was great bright-color-coordination practice. He did get a lot of loving attention.
