hehe…it will be washed of by then….although if I get to visit my friend in CA…there will be a better bug squish windshield pic….

last time when we came home there was a huge butterfly attached to the grill….

I made a bad joke about killing fairies in New Mexico….their state motto is “Land of Enchantment”

      hehe….poor butterfly though…its wings were about 6 inches across….

Hahaha! Killing fairies in the land of enchantment… Perfect.
6 inches across is pretty darn big! 😯

yeah it was huge….that’s why I said I killed a fairy….I mean…it’s not that common to see butterflies that big…

        HEHE….

that would explain all my bad luck though….if it was a real fairy…. 😯

What bad luck? The job issue? Fairies are too small for one of ’em to make that kind of trouble.

          LOL….

          no they’re not…

fairies can be bad little boogars….

this whole subject reminds me of that book….Lady Cottington’s Pressed Fairies….

wonder where I put that thing…hehe

          it’s so funny

Sounds like a good project for you 😈

              Anyways….

I like most of the colors on the griffin, I am not to fond of the lighter green. I think if you changed that color to a darker one then it would look better.

I have to be honest, I don’t like this color scheme very much. There are a lot of bold colors juxtaposed, and it gives me the impression that the griffin is composed of disparate parts instead of being one harmonious whole. One of the reasons I liked the Praxithea color scheme so much was because it was so harmonious.

              Just my 2 cents… 🙂
We are agreed, Mimi, very much so.
              Other pics are here.
Looking at the closeup pictures of the different sections was really interesting. I found that I liked the individual sections, which confirms that how it looks as a whole, when all of the different sections are put together, is what I don’t like.

Everybody has different tastes when it comes to art, so its really hard to tell what will sell well and what won’t (though I was pretty sure about Praxithea!). It’ll be really interesting to see how this guy does on Ebay! 🙂

Ok WHY all the fracking butterflies, creepy seriously folks, I just do not get it, but a very nice paint job reguardless of the demon spawn it was modled after.

I think I agree.. the color scheme is beautiful on the butterfly, but doesn’t translate well for my tastes. I think if he was overall the nice greens and greys/black, with just a small accent of the red somewhere (maybe eartufts, or around the eyes? Or just on the tops of his wings) I’d enjoy it more. The red is visually overwheling to me, but I’m REALLY weird about color because I’m synesthetic! 😆
