There is a specific category for it:
Report Category: Listing Practices
Then a new list opens…
Reason for report: Search and Browse Manipulation
And a last list…
Detailes reason: Keyword Spamming
Then you click “continue” and when the item number appears click “send report”.
And you’re done!
As a side note, I reported these every day for weeks and nothing has ever been done, so I ended up just blocking the seller.

She’s selling her items as “Game of Thrones” products. Probably copyright protected and illegal.

.Thanks. Somehow didn’t see that category before or it just didn’t click.
Actually these aren’t a problem for the dragon search as I don’t have it search description by default. I try to click search description once a day or so just to check for ending soon listings (but then I get all the DVD’s etc). I may miss a dragon once in a great while, but I figure that is life…
My unicorn/kirin/ki-rin search does include description but there are so few on the page it isn’t an issue to ignore the non-windstone stuff.
January 6, 2012 at 10:22 pm #868420I would really love it if this particular witch hunt could be dropped.
I know the seller and the name change came about due to a couple members creating a pretty nasty smear campaign against her online (Not on this website) in the first place after she would not sell a couple of pieces of her artwork to them at the price they were offering.
You know who you are. You know what you did.
She didn’t claim her items were Windstone. She was in the wrong for using improper keywords and she removed them. Thinking that this was further retaliation for some pretty awful things these people did against her artwork online, she created the name as a knee jerk reaction. She regretted it soon afterward, but cannot change her name again for a month. Because Windstone is in her friggin name now, her listings continue to pull up in her searches. She is young, she is stupid, she has been schooled. Let’s not fan the flame.
Encouraging further action against her is adding insult to the injury that has already taken place by some members here. She has not said that she is selling official Game of Thrones merchandise.
I AM ASKING, AS A PERSONAL FAVOR, THAT THIS BE DROPPED. I am not asking anyone to ignore any behavior that violates eBay policies. I am just asking that we let it go that one stupid young little girl did some stuff that is viewed pretty crappy in our eyes because we love Windstone. If you knew the whole story or had been attacked in the way she had some members of this forum, you would have a better grasp of the story.
I don’t want to argue with anyone about the black and white of it. I don’t want to defend her anymore. I want everyone to know that she was officially notified by Windstone to not use their name in her listings and she has. It seems to me the police-ing has been done.
As a person who cares about someone else, I am simply asking for a bit of mercy now. She was wrong, she knows she was wrong, the name will be changed in a month. I apologize for her behavior, I will do everything I can to make sure nothing like this happens in the future. I have no fear that it will because her lesson has been learned. I only wish the people who had done the awful things that started the whole snowball effect could have learned theirs as well.

January 7, 2012 at 5:29 pm #868498Moral of the story: If someone is breaking the rules (eBay, here, whatever), report them. Breakin’ the rules is breakin’ the rules. Beyond that, it’s a lot of speculation and a lot of negativity– who on earth needs more negativity in their lives? Not me! I bet you (you, collectively) don’t either, goodness only knows.
I’m locking this in an effort to be polite, but I’m really not a mod anymore so if you have problems of this nature in the future please let John know.
If you need technical support though, feel free to contact me, and if I can help I will.
