You’re welcome Etruscan! Congrats he’s a pretty one!
August 11, 2017 at 1:36 am #1528692And, my herd posing together;
Love your Thylacine, congratulations!
The next-to-last colt in the store was this guy. I think he is a leopard (thanks to Tig3r06 for the photo guide) with peach-color eyes. Beautifully painted but not my taste, so he is looking for someone to love him.
Beautiful leopard!
Still waiting on my second colt to come. It’s been sitting in customs since the start of the week, how frustrating 🙁
August 11, 2017 at 6:02 am #1528694Thanks, Sikek. Thylacine is still my fav. I don’t know how you Canadians tolerate such long delays in Windstone orders waiting so long for customs. My Okapi came from Canada and I was surprised that he arrived as quick as he did (at the early end of the range they provided through tracking).
August 11, 2017 at 8:34 am #1528696Hi Mary, when I ship to the US, I generally get good feedback from the buyer/trade partner, that the parcel arrived quickly; depending on the State, as quickly as 4 days. I, on the other hand, do not have the same to say for Canada Post, or Canada border service agency. Parcels (mine, anyway) are consistently delayed, and it’s gotten to the point, where I expect it. I can understand taking 2-3 business days to go through customs, but it’s getting ridiculous. My colt was super quick while in the care of USPS, and once it got to Canada, that good customer service was gone. My colt sat in customs for 10 days, and now it’s showing “in Canada” … not out for delivery, not being processed, not anywhere, just in Canada, and it’s been sitting there in limbo for another 3. It infuriates me to think about the lack of accountability, so I prefer to live in my bubble, when it comes to wait times ‘n such. I should have posted this in the “whine in served”thread. Sorry about the rant AGAIN…it’s Mary’s fault!! She brought it up 😉 lol!
Nice Colts btw Mary. I particularly like your Tasmanian Tiger 🙂
I’m hoping to see some colt conga lines show up in the other thread…the sculpt has the perfect pose for it!
Wanted: "Dragon Fruit" Male Dragon ~ "Fire Berry", "Paradise", "Dragon Fruit", "Tie Dye" ~ The brighter, the better!

Yes, that’s been my own experience in trading with Canadians. Items seem to get to USA quickly but take forever to get thru customs in Canada. I’m curious as to learn why (it’s the ex-systems analyst in me that always looks for why something’s not working & how to improve it). Do any of the disgruntled Canadians ask your post office why Windstones take so long to get to you? It would seem that the time should be similar to US processing, unless Canada’s system is less automated? Is it due to your postal system being privately owned? I never realized that Deepok Chopra owned the Canadian postal system until somebody posted it on the forum. Maybe he’s too mellowed out from over-meditating? 🙂 Maybe they need to hire more folks for customs? I’m so impatient that I’d go nuts if I had to wait weeks for a Windstone – us impatient spoiled Americans. 😉
Thanks, I love my thylacine/Tasmanian tiger. Mostly because like in real life they’re very rare. I haven’t seen many in the GB’s & was SO LUCKY to snag this guy. Melody did a wonderful job on these safari’s. They’re all beautiful.
August 11, 2017 at 4:05 pm #1528706I have found with Canada customs that my boxes sometimes get through in a day and other times are held up for a few days so it depends. I have gotten boxes from the US in as little as a week but have also sometimes had boxes get held up for over 2 weeks depending on the time of year.
Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!
August 11, 2017 at 4:06 pm #1528707My mom and I got our last 2 colts in today and they are both gorgeous! We got a lovely tiger and clouded leopard. I like them a lot so am not sure what to do with them but would offer them for trade for other colts like a regular leopard or zebra or other grab bags or I would maybe sell them. If anyone has any lying down safari baby unis for trade I would also be interested in a leopard one in those too so message me with any offers.
Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!
August 11, 2017 at 4:09 pm #1528708I also still have these two colts below for trade or sale.

August 12, 2017 at 6:37 am #1528715Mary, to answer this “Do any of the disgruntled Canadians ask your post office why Windstones take so long to get to you?”
I have complained, and on at least 2 occasions I wrote to our border service…all you get is a copied and pasted, politically correct “we’re sorry for the inconvenience”….when you know what they really want to say is “you don’t like it? Go somewhere else”.
Kim, I think the face on the clouded leopard is hella cute! Where have I seen that before? Did Melody paint unicorns like that for ebay??

That’s the same type of response we get when our post office screws up. I guess they won’t be responsive to customers until they have some competition. As you said, not many options we have.
August 16, 2017 at 1:16 am #1528787My second colt finally arrived.
It’s a quagga. Very nice but not one for my collection so open for trade or sale offers. PM me or I’ll try and set up an ad later 😉
