Enjoy these moments of “PS must have a loose screw”. As of August, my days will be drastically reduced. There are plenty of other fine production painters ready to take over. Maybe one of them will better suit y’all’s sensibilities.
I will definitely miss your work. It has been awesome watching you experiment with new schemes and techniques. I also want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for Barn Swallow. 🙂
Please know that a LOT of us have greatly appreciated all your work.
Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!! I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE your stuff!!! Don’t listen to the nay sayers!! You’re freaking AWESOME!!!
Who is saying bad things about your work?! Everything you do is so awesome!!! Even the stuff of yours that I’m not that fond of is still beautiful (it’s just not my style.) There have been sooooooo many of your pieces that I loved! Don’t let meanies get you down! We love you!
August 3, 2013 at 11:29 pm #901105I have to confess that I’m one of the individuals that have “nitpicked” P.S. work. 🙁 I now realize(too late),that I was wrong for doing so. I’m SO VERY SORRY if it caused P.S. to have hurt feelings. I will ALWAYS cherish the 1 TP Griffin I have. :p I guess it still rings true…”If you don’t have something nice to say…don’t say anything at all!” 😉
August 4, 2013 at 12:32 am #901110P.S. I hope you are not cutting back on your work because of a couple of thoughtless comments on this thread. Some people forget that they’re talking about a real person. Many of us think your work is awesome.
August 4, 2013 at 12:36 am #901112Yay, more geologists on the list! I have a BS in geology too, and chased it with vertebrate paleontology for grad school. I have a bad (aka good!) habit of looking at buildings and seeing them for the rocks they’re built/decorated with rather than the overall structure. Same thing goes for statues, countertops, etc. etc. 🙂 I’m a fan of pretty much all of the various mineral and geo-based designs Windstone and PYO painters have produced over the years!
Yeah! Another rock nut! It’s nice to know you! I’m not so bad with buildings but when I travel any distance by car I better not be the one driving because I spend all my time checking out road cuts! For years after college whenever I visited out of state, I’d end up hitting all the local geological sites (Lava tubes, volcanoes active/dormant/extinct, water cut hills and desert vistas!) I’ve always wanted to hike down the Grand Canyon just to see the different layers close up (won’t happen; bedbound now)- I have spent hours on the North and South Rims, looking through binoculars…

Everyone has their own opinions and tastes, but I think the work of P.S. is fabulous! I have a gorgeous Sun dragon by you that I treasure. Thank you so much for all the lovelies you have done for us.
August 4, 2013 at 2:46 am #901117I’ve never been able to afford Ebay pieces, far out of my price range, but I always enjoy seeing the color schemes P.S. and the other wonderful artists come up with!

I think PS said on facebook she was quitting to properly pursue illustration full time, and that painting as a day job distracted from that. Don’t think it had anything to do with comments on here.
I’m happy that I ended up owning a piece done by PS, I love him! 😀
