Not until the 6th. If someone goes missing, I need to reshuffle things around.
Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

I host the feedback lists, which are maintained by drag0nfeathers.

I have a couple other cheap ceramic pieces I’m going to use the spray on first to get the hang of it.
Any suggestions are welcome π
Just don’t do like me; read the label before spraying! Mine was a pearl clear spray, and my dragon changed color (surprisingly enough, it became pearl!) so I ended up having to repaint him. Now I stick to my brush-on satin clear coat. π

Mine’s been sitting out for a few weeks with my other Windstones. I couldn’t bear to have him in the stuffy box any sooner than was needed. I’ll be sure to give him a quick dusting before I pack him up though. π
March 2, 2008 at 5:58 pm #651534Mine’s just been hanging out in the china cabinet that I put in-progress pyos in XD So I haven’t exactly seen him since I finished him.
March 3, 2008 at 7:08 am #651535Whew – I only just finished mine last night. I’ll send you the picture this evening, Medley.
March 3, 2008 at 5:28 pm #651536Hurray! Finished mine last night and just emailed you a picture. 8)

March 3, 2008 at 5:58 pm #651538March 3, 2008 at 6:46 pm #651539EEeeahhh. Is anyone else in my boat? I started this as soon as I got it, and I ordered the PYO right away… and I’m soooo close to done, but still just not quite happy with it. I haven’t been painting on it every day or anything, and was gone some of this time, but some of you finished right away and others just started & then finished right away and I’m like hmmm… glad I had a month. π
Also, if you use brush-on satin sealer, can you go over it with matte and have that be the finish? Or will it still be satin? (I’m hoping it doesn’t dry this glossy) (and no, I’ve only covered the parts I’m really finished with)
I can’t believe how excited I am!

From my experience, the top coat(s) I use will be the final coat I will get (if I finish with glossy, it will be glossy… if I finish with matte, it will be more matte).
Mine didn’t finish the way I had intended (I had something different in mind), but I couldn’t make it work and I wasn’t going to force it. I think my pyo turned out well, just not with my original intentions π If I started the colors differently, I probably could have done it, but *shrug*. Just means another idea for a future pyo π I hope my person likes it π
March 4, 2008 at 4:38 am #651541I used a triple thich gloss finish this time but I’m not too sure if I am happy with it or not. The triple thick doesn’t go into all the nooks and crannys so I had to look very close to find the spots it didn’t cover. I usually use a regular brush on satin so this one might be a little too glossy but it still looks good. We’ll find out when my swapee gets it.
