I have been busy, and now that it’s down to the wire so to speak, I have to shag my behind to finish my swap piece…I have DragonessJade’s done already, working on my swap and preparing to start the other one.
It seems like everyone over here has been sick to top it off. Glen has it for the 2nd time, and I am kinda glad it’s now just the two of us. (Less people to keep passing it around over and over. 🙄 )
I stop and peek in from time to time (on here) I just am gone so fast, I don’t always get around to everything. I get messages and forget to respond, and thanks to Star for sending me an email, I remembered poor Fauxbird’s mail and thought, “Oh crud! I forgot to tell her I was very busy and was almost ready to paint her Ki-Rin.” I lose track sometimes. And next weekend I will be gone all Day Saturday with my mom. We are making a 5 hour treck for pizza. I know crazy, but it is my Birthday. 😳 I still plan on my peice being done, and hopefully soon I will be ahead enough I can afford to come back to the forums full time and not be depressed that I can’t afford anything. 🙂 I am just glad that some forum members were willing to trade me PYO’s so that I could still keep collecting and painting, and none painted for me have been a dissappointment. 😀
Thank you to all who participate in the swaps wether it is as a group or single. 😀I’m almost finished with mine too. I just need to find the time (and a warmish day) to spray the sealer on it, then sign and glue the pad and add a jewel. Woo hoo!!! And pictures. I can’t forget to take pictures.
Okay, so, I’m being lazy and not digging for the answer… When do people send their pieces? I opted not to join in, so I’m just antsy to see what pretties other people get. (maybe next time, I still have to finish my own 1st PYO before I do one for someone else)
Oh! Wow… Here I was thinking people were getting done with lots of time left. Yay! I get to see pretties soon….

Hehe… I haven’t even started mine yet! I’m ordering it today and working on it this weekend into next week. It will be done, but I definitely didn’t get to start in on it right away like some of the other pyos I’ve done.

I stayed up painting and painting on my swap peice and finished it, but now I have to hunt down the box… 🙄 If it isn’t one thing it’s another!
My boss’ whole family is sick and since the office is in their house, I am SOL on going to work this week, but then that is ok. My son had a fever of 104 today, so I am battling it here too. (And I DON’T WANT IT!!! 😛 )
But, I finished my swap and I have DragonessJade’s done, and now, I am contemplating the Ki-Rin for Fauxbird. I just hope that all three will please the person they are for as much as they pleased me to paint. 😀 I have found that I don’t necessarily mind doing the small dragons as much as I did on the very first one. 😯 I’d still like to do one of the Keeper PYO’s though, and am fond of painting the Griffs most of all.
