I got mine too! 🙂
My thing is trying to figure out how to use colors I have never used before… 😯 😆 😆
I love a good challenge though. 😈January 21, 2008 at 10:15 pm #651409skigod377 wrote:AdaraSky wrote:Ok, I’m done! Took about 7 hours. Now I just have to wait until March! I got lucky. I love the colors that I was working with so that made my job easier. I just hope the person I painted for likes it as much as I do.
You’re done already?? I dont even have mine PYO yet 😆 You gotta keep it a secret now for a long time. That would kill me! 😆
Yeah, It’s driving me crazy! I already had the pyo so that made it easy. My husband got called out to work last night so instead of playing Folklore I decided to start my pyo. Before I knew it it was 3 in the morn and I was done. Well except for the clear coat. I am so proud of myself. I tried a new technique and I love the results and it only took 7 hours. Can’t wait till March! 😀

That’ll be awhile XD
January 21, 2008 at 11:57 pm #651411LOL Adara! I finished a dragon…I have another, and then I want to order a couple. This one isn’t my swap piece, but it is a trade piece. I also tried a new technique on this dragon, and I am actually not so hateful of painting them now… 😆
Depends on if the person it’s intended for wants to know what it looks like prior to recieving it, as to if I will post pics soon or wait. I can’t wait to start the swap peice now! 😀January 22, 2008 at 2:37 am #651412Well, I think I know what I’m doing now. I’ve ordered my PYO, but, now I’m having second thoughts…. Did I order the right eye colour?
I hope this works, if I mess up I don’t think I’ll have enough to buy another PYO for awhile…

January 22, 2008 at 2:11 pm #651414Just a note…
If you want to order a keeper for the swap, I know they’re not in stock yet. Hardwired got a “we’ll let you know” answer from Susie, so we don’t even have an approximate timeline.
You can wait or get something else, up to you. But if you do want to wait for the keeper, if need be, I can push the ship date back to give you the time to paint (though if you’re like Adarasky, that won’t be a problem ). Let’s give it a bit more time before deciding on that.
Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

January 27, 2008 at 12:33 am #651416ok! so we might not be seeing Keepers for a while it seems.maybe not until next month? I am assuming
so, can we have the deadline pushed back to see if those of us trying to get a keeper for our swap piece can see if we will have a chance to get one?
or should we just order the smaller dragon?
January 27, 2008 at 12:38 am #651417Hmmm. I would say order the smaller dragon. But that’s cause I asked for a kirin 😆
With the mold problems Windstone is having and the upcoming move plus the rate at which the keepers will most likely sell out, even if a new batch comes out, I would assume not everyone is going to be able to get one.
Plus, I hate waiting and can’t wait to send my piece off to it’s new home!January 27, 2008 at 3:53 am #651418dragonmedley wrote:Just a note…

😆 😆 😆January 27, 2008 at 7:06 am #651419Okay just a question. Are we allowed to ask for advice from people regarding these Swap pieces? (general questions that won’t give the surprise away 😀 ) Mine is being a pain in the rear!

Hmmm… good question! Whaddaya think, folks?
I’ve already received emails asking questions like that, so in the meantime, just ask me! The only person who can’t ask me is the one painting for me, I guess

I agree. Perhaps ask Dragonmedley… and then she could pass the question on to the one being painted for so nothing about who is painting for who can be revealed?
That was a bit confusing the way it was worded…
